I agree hospitals have to 'cover themselves' but this consultant was basically quoting worst-case scenario from a text book. He hadn't looked at the information he had on the patient before assessing the risks, he backtracked on what he had said. He wasn't treating Frankies mum like a human being - more like a number. Okay he has a busy job - but he gets plenty of pay to compensate!! maggie |
