Afternoon Wattlers Well I have had a lovely day today, firstly the landlord dropped the ladder of and asked me what I wanted it for, I stated tot wash walls and ceilings down as I had to do that for bond reasons, he had a look through and said dont worry too much as it looks ok with him , just get a broom and sweep away cobwebs that might be hanging about and wash any little marks on walls then that will do. I did let him know if I just wash where a couple of marks are, it will leave a spot on the wall, but he isnt worried about it, so that is a bit of work I get outta. Then he informed me that we can move in to new house whenever we like after he gets the keys and he will paint later if it needs it, which we dont think it does, looks like it hasnt been long done. So he is supposed to get the keys on 11th Sept so all going well we will move in, in that week while the girls are on school holidays. This morning I had a lovely time visiting our friend in the home, she is a dear lady, has problem with her short term memory, but her long term memory is still ok. She is such a card and by reports from another lady that lives there, she has them in fit of laughter all the time. She keeps on saying she doent know why she is still here, then replies Oh yes I do the devil dont want me and God dont want me so I am stuck here , lol gotta love her. Anyway better get a few more things sorted out. ~~~~~~ to everyone, hoping everyone is ok. Cheers Sue |

Mmm, Gwenda visiting Ground Zero on 9 11 and Tassie moving at the same time. Hope this isn't an omen, lol. Wow Gwenda that trip sounds fantastic, as opposed to Tassie having to be moving!!! Computer Man phoned today. He hadn't received any of my emails and was only ringing to check that Terry's desktop was now working okay. Anywho, he managed to fix my connection over the phone. Gotta be happy with that! Thanks for the exercises, Yvette. I think the diagrams might be of use, otherwise you might find me lolling at the bottom of the pool. Off to do some more FH research. (tee hee) Hope she doesn't get caught now she's made it that far. Glenda your trip sounds great - Laurie's & my ancestor was born in St Catharines, Niagara, so give him a wave, he's buried somewhere in St Catts. Trifley - hope all went well. Happy Anniversary Flucky - and what are you and Vonny going on about? Jude 3 (Princes DI(y) - I missed you. Where did you go in WA - what did you see - what did you buy - did you enjoy it - was the weather kind to you - did you see Raggy Bear? I look pathetic today - have got red spots all over my face where the skin specialist zapped me all over. And a bandaid over my nose near my eye where he chopped a piece out :( .. At least its all over. Shazz - get back in your box .. pmsl .. oh by the way I am gallivanting off to Geelong on Monday - till Thursday - no internet connection. See you all Jude ooops Jood |

Good afternoon Wattlers No more rain - just a few spits. Wish it would bucket down. Congrats to Barb on the latest win. I'm sure it will come in handy after you bashed the plastic at Hayman Tony! Yoo -hoo Laurie! Have you arrived to a wet Queenland? Gwenda - your itinerary sounds wonderful. No wonder you are counting down the sleeps. Jude DIY - glad you had a good holiday in the West - any pickles? By the way, where are the pickles of the Manchester meet - they are not on the same site as your pickles Tony. Lew - hope you are not doing anything obscene with the spaghetti thingy! Hi Trifley - hope your visit went well. Are you still planning to do some short trips - like the Carnival of Flowers. Believe it or not, we still have some carnival gardens. Some of the die hards have been carting water, buying water etc to water their gardens. Mary - would love to see the pool photos. Glad you are at last getting a chance to enjoy it. Did anyone watch the final of the skating last night? Some absolutely fabulous skating. I read this in the paper today. 'A champion New Zealand athlete's bid for a disabled world title was back on schedule yesterday after her leg, which had been mislaid in Europe's airline luggage chaos was found. Amputee Kate usually carries her $8,500 running leg as hand luggage when she flies, but increased airline security forced her to check it in for a British Airways flight a week ago from London to Amsterdam. The airline told her the leg was believed to be sitting in a LOndon warehouse. However, the leg had since been found at Amsterdam airport.' Good grief - how angry would you be? Have a good day everyone Love Anna |

Sandra - daughter is 23 and making sure she gets her inheritance now I think - still owed from her first trip!!!!! I'm only counting down because the young ones at work can't believe I'm not excited - well I am getting a bit more with each day but moving house would be more exciting and a safer option at the mo - so long as I get there and back in one piece is all I ask for - all the sights and things we do in between will be a bonus. Mary - thanks for the piccles - you look so relaxed - now get back to your FH and knock some of those brickwalls down - lol Jood - hope your back to your beautiful self quickly Glad Laurie got over the borda without probs Dave wants to play on the puta so I guess I'd better let him have a turn. Got meat to cut for tea - not doing anymore cooking for him - got told 'I can cook' so he can do his own b****y cooking while I'm away - might lose some weight in the process - ooooohh Working tomorrow as well as usual 3 days so won't be on here until late arvo Gwenda |

Hi Trifley, how did things go today ? Are you p******d yet ? Sorry Donna, the rain didn't reach here. Gwenda, your trip sounds fantastic. The Falls are a truly amazing sight. If you get a chance, have lunch at the revolving restaurant. Magnificent view !!!! And while you are in NY, line up in Time Square and get cheap tickets to a Broadway show. I'm sorry I didn't see more shows but ran out of time. Did ya get the ironing finished? lol You tell him (OH) girl. Let him do his own thing and don't you worry while you are away !! Shaz, I have recently found a lady related on my Father's side (Kent, Eng) is married to a guy related to my Mum's side (Somerset, Eng). Me think this amazing !!!!! Small world. Tassie, this is going to make it easier for you, not having to scrub the walls and ceilings down. You can slow down a bit now and take it easier. Jood, the constabulary probably have the fugitive under observation. lol Jood, Vonny and I are stirring each other about her 'sick' jokes, but some of the others think they are funny !!!!! Oh what a weird sense of humoue some peeps have, and I thought I was strange. Btw, how is the face, something I keep putting off. Anna, still haven't gone for my ride yet. Will have to do it in the morning if it is fine. Don't mind if it is raining though. Lew has had a good teacher in the form of a puddy tat. Some of us are very 'respectable'. We know how to mind our p's and q's. take care all Pam |

Duffy Fluck I was wondering what you and Vonny were carrying on about lol Brrrrr its cold here tonight even with the heater on. Me thinks bed might be nicer - the lecky blanket is already on. My face doesnt hurt at all, I just have a row of red blotches on both sides of my face and a cream round bandaid on the bridge of my nose where he nicked a bit out. 'He' being the doc! .. Hands are ok - they were itchy at first, but now I wouldn't know they'd been done. ('freezed over' I mean) .. Go and see your Doc Duffy - don't put it off. I'd say the fugitive is probably looking for another Macca's up there, or maybe she has actually arrived and not got power in her place. .. I'm sure we will hear from her soon. By the way, where is that rascal Wattie - is he still relaxing at Mudgee - I was wondering if he was booked for NY? Jood |

Hi Yvette - no Niagara in WA??????????? I was talking about Canada and the US. .. Bumsoddy showed me a black and white pic of Niagara Falls frozen with ice. .. I think its only happened once. .. Should have kept it, looked beayooooootiful. Yippee I did keep it - its in sepia - if anyone wants a copy they can email me. .. It was taken in 1911 and is only 46kb Yes, zapped is better any time, tho I did have a dermatologist who was particularly vicious with his 'freezing', and I used to take 2 panadol before I even went to see him ! .. This present guy is good though. Jood |

yeah, there is a Niagara in WA. the kids relos went there in the 1800's - gold mining. They were farmers miners, (convicts) and free settlers. Also brick makers. They caught the ship from Victoria, (Euroa) and then train then overland. Pretty amazing stuff. Their coz. told us about it. i think there's still Hartley peeps about there. The women must have been soo strong. Apparently, they either had the kids out there or caught train boat train back to Victoria again. They made a big dam out there too and brought all the stuff in on camels. back on track, I would love a copy of your 1911 photo please jood. |

Never heard of it - but it sounds interesting. Niagara Within 10km of Kookynie, Niagara has declined even more sharply. The population in 1905 was 1,000 and is now nil. Almost nothing remains of the buildings, but visitors may find many old bottles and small relics of the gold rush days. Niagara Dam, was built in 1897 with cement carried from Coolgardie by camel-back. The surrounding area is rugged and scenic with good bird life, and is ideal for picnics. Please note the access road is not suitable for caravans. My rellies were looking for gold around Cue area - nah - they didnt find any. Off to bed I am, Night all Jood |

WILLIAM GLADMAN was indicted for stealing, on the 22d of February, two yards of canvass, value 1 s., and one sack, value 1 s. , the goods of Benjamin Hull . ROBERT CHRISTIAN . I am an officer of Mile End. On Sunday morning, at quarter past six o'clock, I saw the prisoner and another lad at the back of Hull's house; the other one got over the rail, and handed something over to the prisoner, who put it in a bag - the other ran off. I secured the prisoner with the bag, containing the sack and canvass. BENJAMIN HULL . They are mine; I lost them out of my garden on the 22d of February. Prisoner's Defence. I found them. GUILTY . Aged 20. Transported for Seven Years . First Middlesex Jury, before Mr. Recorder. Love a good crime story..lol Hope everyone's had a great day. Tony Oz....:>))) |
