This will be a well red thread as we are 'all' and mean 'all' so involved with Gaynor - some may know that am also in a 'piggy' situation and received an e-mail from Gaynor as did not know her before and asked about radiotherapy - Gaynor wrote to me on my home e-mail a long letter explaining all the things she thought may help me - this letter have printed and have in my kitchen drawer and everytime open it re read a part of it - had no idea how her situation was health wise till towards the end of the letter and was astounded at her generosity to me asking if there was anything else wished to know if she could she would answer. Also Jack sent me good wishes when knew that I now have to be re-operated on wrote to her and said it must be something in her DNA from her Mom and Dad that she is also so generous to me especially at this awful time for her - why is it we only realise how nice we could all be - this is me I mean - only when the chips are down - obviously Gaynor and Jack have always been wonderful as its not something that just suddendly appears Lets say am feeling a better person now having realised that life is to short to be unkind so hope the message gets through that have been enriched since having contact with Gaynor and all the other very kind people - who also have also big problems I see - reaching out to we who need a hug at the moment Gilllian x

Gillian you are right, these are two wonderful people. I have the luck of knowing them personally, and they never ceased to amase me. Even though they need supporting themselves at present, they still manage to lend their support to others who need it, not many people would be able to do that. I wish you luck with your operation, i'm sure everything will go well and i hope you have a speedy recovery. You too have shown you are a strong person who can lend support in times of need, for that we are all greatfull. Wishing you lots of luck Clarexx

Gillian, thank you. I only signed up to genes after reading the responses to my mums initial cancer thread. I was completely humbled by the replies and the love and support that was given by so many wonderful people. I am very proud to be my mothers daughter and proud to be a member of this site. Jack you know that your replies and letters to me are also stamped and in the kitchen drawer soon it will be full to overlowing of kindness and love and it will all jump out and run around my house sitting in all the nooks and crannies and will have to start a scrap book of all your lovely words - touch of the patience strong - remember my hug for your Mom x and a squeeze for you also!!
