Off to take OH for another eye injection.
Lunch.
Out to pick up daughter and then
to take friend out for coffee.
Evening meal.
You-know-where.


Apart from that, quite an uneventful day....hahahahahaaaa......

Ive been one day ahead all week and this morning woke, thinking it's Saturday!

Kettle is on and hot buttered toasted teacakes at the ready

OH has been convinced we are a day ahead since Wednesday. :-)

Washing out. Quick tidy. Out to get a few bits and pieces then who knows.......

Plugged something in and a car alarm went off.

Didn't really happen quite that way but ...I was going to surprise everyone on our Fred by plugging in the kettle and starting.......

Never mind - it was a nice thought and I have fixed it now so breakfast is now cooking. :-)

Bacon, poached and scrambled eggs, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes, fried bread.

Toast is on and crumpets are under the grill and there are a few of Toots' chocolate chip cookies left over from her visit yesterday - Thank you Toots <3

A lot of my time is being taken up you-know-where at the moment, as I am sure you understand. However, I have got six sheets blowing on the line and more in the wash! Apart from ours, my daughter has a new bed and new bedding...which is being washed before use. Our neighbour must wonder what on earth is going on......... ;-)


Son and children are coming for lunch tomorrow because d-i-l is working....it will be a Christmas dinner all over again. Will have to be really organised because I won't be back from you-know-where till about 12.45......... :-S

Cynthia - did you just edit your post as I could have sworn that you said something about being "6 sheets to the wind" ?? :-S

I did think it strange that you should be quite so inebriated at this time in the morning !! :-S :-0 :-D :-D

Do be careful Mo - a very annoying little friend of my son's came to tea once when they were both about 8 or 9. - He complained loudly and quite rudely that his ice cream was too cold so I asked him if he would prefer it hot !! - YES, he demanded so I put it in the microwave and then placed it back in front of him. He managed to get through about half but seemed to behave a lot better when he was over after that ;-) :-D

I will put your poached egg gently onto a slice of buttered toast and serve your cookie as a pudding............................. (Just this once mind!!! ;-) )

Got woken up this morning by a car alarm :-(

DIL's brothers partner had a little boy this morning :-)

Its a lovely sunny day hope it lasts

A Happy birthday to the new little boy and to Ginns son <3 <3

I knew there was someone on here with as birthday around the same time as my son but couldn't remember who (thought it was connected to Cynthia as I think her grand-daughter's was very recent).

My son was 40 on Thursday - It sure makes you feel old when your children get to that age! ;-) :-D
