Poor Fred was on page 2 :-(

Linds.....
I wouldn't really mind so much if he were watching a sports game.......movies ,though???? And my computer is about 7 feet from where he is.
We will NOT throw the nearest object. :-D :-D :-D :-D

My hubby does that too when watching Manchester City football games - All you can hear from him is either mutterings under his breath or 'Come on Ref!!!' or 'Yeeeeesss!!!' when they score a goal - It is quite embarrasing especially in the summer time when the windows are open!

Mo - I really think you ought to buy him a new TV to put an end to his 'madness' !! ;-) :-D :-D :-D

Good morning... :-D

A quick breakfast 'cos it's you-know-where day. Mind you, any day can be you-know-where day and lots of folk I know should take sleeping bags with them as they are so busy there. :-)

Cereal - Eggy bread - bacon with tomatoes, eggs and mushrooms. Large barm cakes for Dea.

Hope you're okay Dea........ <3

Mo....my OH sometimes watches dvd's on his little dvd player and puts the ear pieces in. Quite a sight I can tell you. Also, with the Parkinson's, if it is an action film, it stimulates the brain and he starts to 'writhe' as though conducting an orchestra.........we do tease him about it......... :-D

At the moment, he is watching the canonization of the two new saints in Rome - before we go off to ....well, you-know-where.

Be good.............. :-D

Good morning all :-)

I have made a lovely sausage and egg breakfast pie, topped with tasty Ilchester beer cheese, browned under the grill, served with bacon and mushrooms.

The sausages are vegetarian especially for Ginns but they are quite nice, surprisingly ;-) :-D

Help yourselves please.........

Thank you very much. Yummy.

I did have a good laugh with everyone's OH tales. :-D

Nice bright sunny day here,,,,the mourning doves are cooing.the woodpecker is rat-a-tatting; I think we have some orioles (plus all the other usual suspects) and the train whistle just blew. :-)

Hi Maureen,

How about sending some of those orioles a bit further up north? We haven't seen one yet.

The robins have returned along with the red-winged blackbirds but no orioles yet.

Cynthia busy as usual at least you get to sit down when you are you know where ;-)

Marg,

I'll trade you an oriole for a red wing. When the jays and the cardinals start arriving we'll talk about a merger. Unless the black hawks get there first.........
Hockey and baseball........;-)

Cynthia Report 27 Apr 2014 18:12

Oooh......we've gone all ornithological......... :-S

Sit down? Sit down? Even at you-know-where I rarely sit for long. I liaise between the service and the creche so can be up and down like a yo yo. Fortunately this morning was fairly quiet except for when no-one moved when it was time for one of the readings, so to avoid an embarrassing pause, I grabbed my specs and legged down the aisle to the lectern, all the while trying to look cool, calm and collected :-D

Daughter dropped her phone and broke it this morning which meant a trip into town. I dislike shopping on a Sunday unless it is really essential, so I took her to Carphone and then sat and watched the world go by. My word, there were some sights for sore eyes!!!!

;-)

Cyns-please.....did your shoes match? (each other-not your outfit). Not that it makes much difference as long as you were collected. ;-) <3

Margee-no politics!!! <3 :-D ;-)
Sorry....couldn't help it... and the Long Island Ducks :-S

Oer :-|

I was sitting minding my own business about 5 o'clock. OH was due in any minute from footie.

Heard the door open and I said "that was good timing have just boiled the kettle"

I heard a mans voice but couldn't make out what he was saying.

I got up to see what was keeping him and the door was slightly ajar.

No sign of OH I looked out but didn't see anyone. So someone had obviously tried the door and scarpered :-|

I locked the door sharpish. We are on a busy road so someone trying their luck.

OH came home 5 minutes later and wondered why the door was locked.

Lesson learned door locked from now on.

Mo! How did you remember about my shoes??? :-D

It's something I double check these days.......... :-D :-D

We're as bad as you Linda for not locking the front door because we are on a main road! :-0 Scary moment!

Just some bits and bats to do this morning and then settle down to my ironing this afternoon... :-D :-D

Dea

Dea Report 28 Apr 2014 08:49

Good morning all :-)

Thanks for the lovely breakfast Cynths - Full English please. <3 <3

You should know by now that 'our Mo' remembers everything ;-) :-D :-D

Linda - you should change the lock on your door to one like mine.

When we had a new door put in many years ago we were given several options on the door lock. This one looks exactly the same as the ordinary one, with the handle to open it but when you close the door you can still open it with the handle from the inside but NOT from the outside as it effectively locks itself when you close it! - MUCH safer than the previous one we had where you had to use the key to lock it.

You do have to remember though that even if you go out just for a few minutes you must take a key as if it blows shut on you you can't get back in ;-) :-D You soon get used to that though.
