HI thanks for the help one of the reasons that wondered if you were able to find out why Charles was sent to prison was that they might have had who next of kin was on his record as you can see Charles is down as 31 and the mother is only 23 so I am wondering maybe he was married twice and that Charles age 31 was from the first marrage ? as Rose is only 5 I have got the marriage cert for Mary Whitehead and Charles Also I have the marriage cert for Charles Ruben Horsfal but it has got his father as Francis deceased so it is becoming more confusing as I cant trace a Francis !! maybe two families regards |

Hi once again thanks for you help its the Charles Horsfall 31 thats confusing me as Charles Ruben was born 1908 which is right and Rose is his sister on birth cert. she is down as Jane Rosina born at 61 Maria Street Charles was born at n o 68 but cant figure out the Charles 31 born 1880 Hoxton London if he was 3 it would be Charles Ruben 1908 ! regards |

there is definitely some discrepancy so i am going to spend some more time on it. the marriage age is in between both prison ages so only one can be right. |
