i have not been able to make a definite match before 1891 or for his father
i have not been able to find anything on his prison records.

i have not found anything further on charles junior but maybe i have found the 3rd child

HI thanks for your help again, he does seem to have been a bit of a rogue doesnt he. I have also found in the national archives a Charles Horsfall born 3rd SEP 1887 IN Shoreditch. joining the Royal Navy on the 8th July 1915 the HMS Victory. think it was a training ship then on to the Hyacinth. but according to the note he was arrested in Cape Town for Shop Lifting and it states he wasnt allowed to serve in the R.N. again !!!! thrown out in Jan 1917 so that could be him as well. another descrepancy is Charles Rubens marriage cert. has got Francis Horsfall down as his father deceased and not Charles a motor washer (deceased) but his birth cert says Charles Horsfall a carman? but thanks once again you ha ve been great regards

Hi I have now got the Birth certificate for Kate Horsfall and it is the correct one and the original copy of the census but does any body know how I find out why she was in there as the details are blocked out I looked for death for next year on but not there so I am presumming she lived regards
