I can't believe it is SO late......! I've never stopped - it's half term and I've had the grandkids since lunch time. No trouble at all but just keep going..........zzzzz

Just gonna take a quick look to see how many need a message but I'm not really in the mood to remind folks......just want to chill to be honest.

It was a 1911 question because these people have looked at the summery books on ancestry they think it must be gospel she gave an address I said no they are not there, but I found them next door...so I get the" well it says on the summery books on ancestry xyz"...aghhhh well its WRONG

Nope Gins...It seems to be a regular question on the A page also as long as we dont have to pay more to see it...which could happen as FMP is more expensive than A

D.I.Y SOS.........Just up the road and round the corner near Aberystwyth....What a fantastic 10 day job in the Snow..People came from everywhere to help as so many of the trades folk couldnt get there,even the postman...
Blows nose and wipes eyes...Wonderful job they did of the whole house plus put up some surprise kennels for her 9 rescue dogs......
Even if hubby went tomorrow with his illness he would go a happy man as he no longer has to worry about her living in a building site...

I understood that ancestry was going to do its own transcription of the 1911 ........... which couldn't start until they got access to the census, which I think was earlier this month.

They haven't bought it from fmp or the 1911 official site


so it might take months before it is actually on the site.

I dont think FMP is more expensive than Worldwide A,not with the 1911 thrown in for the price...So I have to disagree with you there Ja...x....Sorry.

But the sub for 1911 alone is not worth taking,you may as well pay the little extra and have the lot..
And you dont have to look at image for the occupation and addresses....

If there is an increase in price to access the 1911 ....... I'll just carry on doing what I do now


Go to the 1911 site itself, look up for free, then buy credits if and when necessary


it's cheaper .......... and the search engine on the 1911 site is much better than fmp's

The search engine is most def better on Official site than FMp Sylvs...But as I do a fair few lookups on 1911 credits would be no good for me..

Just looked and it seems that the option of just sub to 1911 on FMP has gone?Used to be about £40 for 6 months I think...

fans ........... oen obviously has to work out which is most cost effective.



I don't do many 1911 look ups ..... although I used to do free lookups for people on here, and then tell them to buy the credits!

Now so many people have the 1911 by subscription that I don't even bother doing that.

Well I hav'nt got world wide just premium which was about £80+ for the year and fmp is £ 66 for six months. If I had'nt been so stupid I would of negotiated a bigger discount for world wide...maybe next year
