Wowww !!

I was just having a serious conversation with my son and my husband tapped me on the shoulder and said - "look at that" !!

I looked and there was a spider on the wall in the dining room - I swear it was the size of a 'side plate' - about 5" across !!

BRAVE husband got several sheets of kitchen towel and GOT IT !!!

Thank goodness for that - I will wash the wall again properly in the morning!

I know you have such large creatures in Australia and places but I don't think I have ever seen one quite that big over here in the UK !!!

Yuuuukkk !!!!!!!!!

I don't think it was a tarantula Cynths - It's body was not that hairy !!

It was just an ordinary one I think but VERY big !!!

I am afraid I didn't think to get a photo - I was deep in conversation and when I saw it I was just VERY glad that hubby 'got rid' "!!!

If I see another one I will make sure I get a photo :-D :-D :-D

P.S. - I am REALLY not exagerating on the size !

It was bigger than a saucer and just about the size of a 'small plate'!

Can you cote for my nieces Charity please --- I have just voted and they only have 68 votes

http://communityforce.natwest.com/project/1166
my niece writes :
If you have a minute, please could you vote for a charity I volunteer at to win £6000 worth of much needed funding?
The voting process is quick but a bit glitchy, you have to register first, then confirm your registration by clicking on an email they send you, then you can vote. I would be SO grateful though. Cheers!

Hmmm....wife beater, drunk etc

Not impressed to see him...at all

Look on the bright side Gin, he is a Charlton Athletic supporter, not a Blades fan.

I liked him when I saw him at the Circus Tavern in the 80s

I am sorry Dea,

I was around then had to buzz out right at your breakfast time....

So I had to nick down the American shop and have an American Breakfast repeat to go:

Cinnamon French Toast, whipped butter and syrup.

Hash browns & gravy

Huevos Rancheros: 2 eggs any style, 2 tortillas, potatoes, onion, green pepper, cheese, salsa cilantro.

Country Scramble: 2 eggs, ham, hashbrowns, green pepper, onion, topped with American Cheese & toast.

Eggs Florentine: 2 eggs poached & spinach on an English muffin, hollandaise & hash browns.

Eggs Benedict: 2 eggs poached, Canadian bacon on an English muffin, hollandaise & hash browns.

Three egg omelete with cheese or feta, with chives or thyme. or with Cheese and spinach, or with bacon and cheese or vege omelette with mushrooms, tomatoes and cheese... all served with hash browns.

2 eggs any style, steak and hash browns.

Sides: sausage patties, sausage links, ham, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms.

Juices, coffee and tea.

Renes.

I will look at Cambridge... I have said I like them awhile ago because they do really good food... and I like their drop in clientele.. I can identify with them spending so much time engrossed in the computer...... ;-)
