Hi sylv

As it was in my threads I would have seen something, but I did notice he posted on another thread on that board today.

I do not think he got the answers he wanted so perhaps thats why he deleted?

Where is WDYTYA it being held LK ?.....London?

Pity he did that because there was some relevant stuff on that thread, he might not have thought so but I did LOL... and there will be a few annoyed people that all they put was wasted.

LOL re you thinking Bill Oddie was Christ.. ... Sylvs

I thought she was telling us she had some oddies in her tree along with some numptys... Turns out she was being a Yorkshire Puddin... cooked in drippin...

I do not think that anything relevant would have mattered to someone who had as many people in his tree as he seemed to have....according to another thread he posted on.

yes, I saw that other thread just now

says he had to delete about 80% of his tree, and it now "only" has around 14,000 names in it

He's also getting at IGP on the thread .... it's on Hot Matches

Delicious breakfast ........Thank you Sylvs <3 <3

I had to follow up 'my usual' with just a little of that chicken stir-fry. I had some yesterday and it was so good that I couldn't resist :-D

I have left some room for lunch though.

See you all later.

OK you mumpties....I changed my avatar becuase I was making some very northern remarks on the thread about the interviews they are holding (for feedback from GR customers) in LONDON and not 'Up NORTH'

Bill Oddie was one of the three 'Goodies' and they had a sketch that ran in their shows for some time and it was all about 'northerners'

Ecky Thump.....as in 'by eck' and other northern expressions. It was a mick take and they over did the whole northern thing....very funny to a then 12 year old

An exageration of the northern man wearing his flat cap is was you can see on my avatar....they all wore massive flat caps during the sketch

I have no idea why Bill is praying but Im sure he is not 'God' or trying to be 'God'!!!!!

Sheesh.................Im going for a cuppa

I hear that accent every day and I still have to think about it at times. When OH was having his eye test done last week, we were regaled by another customer on her phone having a loud conversation with someone who was obviously rather deaf. I think the whole of the town knew that she was "in th'opticians'.

There are also a group of elderly men who we bump into occasionally ( Last of the Summer Wine type). A conversation with them has me grinning from ear to ear.........they're brilliant - when I can understand them that is :-D

Thank you for breakfast Sylvs. Had better get a move on now....don't think OH is going to church this morning as it will be packed and chaotic so I will go with my daughter probably. He's in a bit of a 'low' at the moment so I have to put my 'encouraging' face on :-D :-( :-D :-( :-D

Avatar, a photo of my uncle who was killed on the beach in Anzio 1944. Before the war he was in the seminary training to become a Catholic priest

I went to visit his grave in Italy a few years ago....the first visit he had ever had from a family member
