Cheeky monkey!! - you getting frisky cos you are on your hols???

I have calmed down now - cos just been doing some ironing - that is enough to calm me down from the most exciting of situations!!

Good grief how quiet is it on here today!

Been out come back and hardly anything has been posted........must be out Christmas shopping

OOOhhh - I don't start that until the day before Christmas Eve Ginns !!!

Almost fell into the freezer in Sainsbury's once 'coz I had to reach down to lift out the very last Christmas Turkey!!

You need two hands to lift a frozen Turkey - so, two hands went in - I am about 5 ft tall, the turkey was about 3 ft down or more and so, my 'likkle legs' had to leave the floor !!!

I WAS rescued though :-D

Have almost finished my Christmas shopping now thank goodness. Only a few bits left to get...........yipee.

They might have wanted it for themselves Cynths and I had to get my hands on it first !!! - It gets quite 'competative' in Sainsbury's at that time of year - That's why I have never been since!!! ;-) ;-)

Got some stuff that JB will hate but it matters not as I like them :-D

Are they 'woolly warm unmentionables' then Ginns??? - They will keep you warm and stop you getting all those nasty colds and viruses!!!

They MUST be a zip or something in there somewhere ??? ;-)

We dont start our Christmas shopping until about a week or two from now. If we start early we just carry on adding to the gift list and it costs a fortune

We also go on Wednesday evening after work as its quiet

Brother sent over some cash (quite a lot) with JB to go towards the Christmas dinner....I is not a happy bunny.....I dont have guests so that they can pay

He says he'll be offended if I dont accept it.........any ideas?

I know what you mean Ginns about the 'cash' but why not put it to good use??

Find a local 'charity', Hospice, Hospital or something you feel comfortable about who provides Christmas Dinner for 'Old folk' or 'Homeless folk' or 'Children in hospital' etc and donate it to them ???

That way it will be of some use!!

P.S. - I am not religious in any way but I have known people, over the years, who were in the Salvation Army and I DO know that they do a VERY good job which directly benefits those who need help - I always give them my support! - Just a thought !

I do that every Christmas Dea, I give to a local charity, mainly the cancer therapy centre (Cavendish) that helped my best mate get through her breast cancer fight

I guess I could get him a special gift.......gowed knows what!

Well, if it were me Ginns, I would stil look for a 'little local' group who do something which makes a difference and who don't usually get a great deal of help and I would give it to them.

But, Hey - that's just me' !!!

You could probably contact my local Sainsbury's and donate it to them to pay for steps to be put on the outside of their freezers !!! - Tell them, I might go back to them then ???

I have just chopped the strongest onions every.....even made me cry and onions dont bother me normally
