it doesn't sound good at all!

Might be worth getting one of the birth certificates to see what it says.

Good morning all !

You were right Sylvs - I have just read back and yes I was "having a conversation in a parallel universe" wasn't I??

Have been doing way too much over the past few days trying to prepare for Xmas and consequently have been taking FAR too much medication - It looks like it all 'kicked in' at once :-D :-D :-D

It's a good job I took myself off to bed !

Had a good sleep though, for once, and I'm ready for that lovely breakfast now.........................

Going to be a good girl today and not 'overdo' things but I MUST write my Christmas cards and get them posted or they will never arrive on time!

See you all later.

Thanks for breakfast Sylv...............going to have a munch when Ive got another cuppa

Dea, you know you should not mix those meds with wine old girl ;-)

LK, I would have to get a birth certificate for your guys child. Have you checked if the daughter ever married and found out when the father died?

Dea

Dea Report 20 Dec 2011 08:28

You are probably right Ginns!

I bought one of those 'little' bottles of red wine yesterday and put some into the liver pate which I was making - there was about half a glass left which I duly 'finished off'.................... It really does not mix !!!

Renes Report 20 Dec 2011 13:18

thank you for all your nice responses --- although I am surprised you all recognised me

being so FAT since giving up smoking --- weight beginning to go off now -- slowly - but I have gained nearly 10 kilos !!

Dea

Dea Report 20 Dec 2011 13:33

Hello Renes - lovely to see you!

Don't worry about the extra weight - It just means that there is more of you for us to 'hug' :-D

Yes Cynths - I am O.K. now - Had a lovely sleep for once and am having a quiet day so I don't have to overdo the meds again!

Have at last written my Xmas cards and hubby has just posted them for me so I am quite 'in front of myself' again!

Going to make loads of sausage rolls this afternoon and freeze them so that I don't have to do them on Xmas Eve

HID is just trying to work out how long it would take and cost.

As he has driven Vans for a living and up until last week had a mini bus but the company has gone into liquidation owing him about 7 weeks wages...lovely christmas present :-(

Cynthia Report 20 Dec 2011 19:00

A man with a van eh? Renes, if you google Norfolk to Spain furniture removals, there are quite a few helpful sites which may give you advice.

I was hoping to finish off some little jobs today but got sidetracked. I hate it when that happens....would much rather get done and dusted with whatever it is.

Do wish it was all over and done with :-(

Gee

Gee Report 20 Dec 2011 19:00

Pickfords Renes.............

Renes

Renes Report 20 Dec 2011 19:16

I have filled out lots of on line quotes --- but some respond .. others dont and I would prefer a company that someone has used

It is only a small removal --- a part load -- so it is not worth the big boys

Gee

Gee Report 20 Dec 2011 20:09

I havent used Pickfords before but a couple of mates have and they have been excellent..........even wore 'white gloves' oooo I say!

Have you thought of phoning them and asking if they do 'part' loads with other people?
