I have a day at home, marking. I might be on here more than I should be!

Good morning and thank you for breakfast Persie. I'll have the scrambled egg dish but without the garlic and peppers please. :-D


I'm sure Dea and I will cope whilst you're away. Just go and have a great time :-D :-D


I much prefer pork pies cold Gins..........but it's ages since I had one as I am trying to be good. :-D


Have put some towels in the washer in the hope that it doesn't rain before I hang them out. :-S


Dea, I've got one more week of school holidays. :-(

My neighbour over the back just keeps on having children, it sounds like a creche over there!

Never mind, it should be raining soon ;-)

Never a dull moment here.......quietish afternoon and then son called. Got washed up and settled down again and trying to sort a family tree problem out before taking daughter home and then......visitor arrived ! Just come back from taking daughter. Sheeeeesh.......



Isn't Renes going to the meet then Dea? I thought she was doing her bestest to be there :-S

Not sure why we are the 'special' ones Jonesey, but I like it ;-) :-D :-D

Breakfast:

Selection of cold cerials, chopped fresh fruits and yoghurts

Toast, various sweet or savoury sopreads.

Platters of various hams and cheeses,

Fresh hot bread rolls and crackers.

Porridge.

Bacon, sausages, tomatoes, grilled mushrooms, fried bread ..........in the warmers.

Eggs cooked to order.

Fruit juices, tea, coffee.

Fresh croissants, danish pastries, home made pineapple upside down cake.

As you know, I rarely venture over to the 'dark side' but thought some time ago when I popped over there for a couple of minutes that I saw thay she wasn't coming.??

I have a feeling its going to be another busy day and I am in the middle of sorting out two of my families who married into each other.......I have that twice!! They obviously didn't travel far..... :-S


It's getting a bit autumnal here and I don't really like autumn......I find it a bit depressing..... :-(

It is getting a bit Autumnal here as well. The leaves on first tree (An oak) in the park opposite my house have already changed colour and are dropping off at an alarming rate. I cannot recall that happening during the third week of August before.

Like yourself I find this time of year a bit depressing. The nights draw in so quickly. Yesterday evening for example, which admittedly was cloudy, it was dark here well before 8:30pm.

And standard loves to all others ....


Charming, us others are not special enough!

I was right! Another busy day......hither and thither here and there.......at least it's pizza for tea tonight.

We get them made at Asda 'cos OH and daughter are both allergic to cheese so, we have 2 non-cheese and a cheesey one! Funny lot we are.


Looks like we'll be having some celebrations in town soon......Challenge Cup & Cup Final winners.....not bad for a little place. :-D :-D

Hmmm.....it certainly is a bit like 'Animal Farm' on here ;-)

Bacon - sizzling nicely

Eggs - scrambling beautifully

Tomatoes - grilling brownly

Bread - toasting gently

Croissants- warming quietly

Kettle - boiling merrily.

Cereals - chilling cooley

Juices - freezing rapidly.
