The wind is HOWLING out there and is blowing all my loverley tomatoes off their stems !!!

I picked 3 lbs of them yesterday and made some gorgeous soup but am having to pick all the green ones up from the soil now and have put them in a bag with an old banana to ripen them :-(

I don't like this horrid weather !!!

Hi everyone ,

Not been on for a couple of days this is one STINKER of a cold voice is all husky, got the whole works hot/cold/boiling/freezing blocked up/nose streaming.

Have had the granchers today as DIL is at the end of her tether with oldest who is throwing a strop for no reason. Post on dark side ;-)

Gins don't spend it all in one shop :-D

I won £10 on a scratch card on Friday will pay for the Beechams ;-)

Not sure now whether I mentioned last week that I finally got to the Medical Clinic last Monday with the little collection of requisitions I've collected from the doc during the last 5 or 6 weeks. I could never connect going over there with time to do it

So ............... I had bloods taken, and an ECG, which proved that my heart was beating at approximately 8:35 am September 9

I had another appointment with the doc on Thursday afternoon, to check that the new bp drug was working as it should ................ and the blood results were in.

I was really chuffed!

Blood sugar levels good ................ which means I've managed to keep them down since the "pre-diabetic" scare last year

cholesterol levels good ............ the medication is working!

and liver enzymes were good ............ which means the new bp medication isn't interacting with anything else.

The heart results weren't in ....... so all I know is that I was definitely alive at 8:35 am on Monday :-D

DIL has an appointment this afternoon and we were going to sit with the little ones BUT OH has banned me from going out.

Said I would pass the cold on so he has gone himself :-)

It was very stormy last night torrential rain and high winds very mixed today. Glad I don't have to go out

Guess what ???

I now have my very own parking space outside the gates of my grandchildren's school !!! :-D :-D :-D

Well, it's not really 'mine' but it was lovely to park so close !

I asked the headmistress last year if she thought it might be a good idea to have a couple of disabled spaces outside the school as it is impossible to park anywhere near to it.

I am sure that there is not only me who has problems walking there from streets away!

Anyway, they must have painted them over the weekend as when I arrived today - there they were - 2 lovely disabled spaces - both empty and just waiting for me ! :-D
