poured with rain last night................. and there some lightening flashes at around 2:15 am

I put my head under the covers, so don't know how long they lasted!

I didn't hear any thunder cracks though.

It was also raining very hard early this morning, but now it is just drizzly and miserable

I don't doubt that several able-bodied people will be very upset at not being able to park very close to the school gates, though!

I must be ill son and partner are making dinner no one was hungry before now I had to go and have a snooze :-)

Thanks Dea will be fine in a couple of days. I must be bad OH brought me breakfast in bed this morning - mind you it was nearer lunchtime :-D

A bit of a pottering day really......some shopping, some ironing, some meeting, some visiting. Off to see the solicitor tomorrow to sign our new wills...... :-)

Just checking in cold and wet today think winter has arrived.

I hadn't realised the time this morning.

Yesterday it took me 1hr 10mins to travel 2.9 miles to work :-0 So, thought I better get a move on today

I didn't think that today was going to be particularly busy.....how wrong could I be?? I have been on the go for hours. Only got to sit down here at 7.30.....from 1.30.... :-S

I had almost finished the bedrooms when we had a visitor which delayed me. After lunch, we went into town to finalise the signing of our wills.

Came home and started some ironing for a friend and then began on teal.


In the middle of cooking tea, something went wrong with my new hob and cooker and I spent ages trying to sort out an appointment with the company concerned. it was going to be a week on Thursday before they could send anyone!!! I was not impressed to say the least. It was eventually whittled down to this Friday.

........and then, blow me, my son arrived and I was telling him how I couldn't light the oven and the blimmin' thing lit up straight away!!! Don't know what to do now. Will test it all again in the morning when I have more patience...... :-D


Going for a browse here ......and there!! :-D :-D

Off to work..........have a good day all

This time tomorrow, Gins will have left the country :-D

Oh good....the kitchen is quite well stocked today so here goes:

Bacon, sausages, mushrooms and beans are keeping warm in the oven [_]

Ohhh Cynths - I don't know what happened there - half my last message seems to have disappeared into the ether !!! :-S :-0

I had brought some croissants and sent Ginns off with a couple to eat in the car on her way to work and then said I would put the porridge on and do some bacon butties :-S :-S

This all seems to have disappeared and only the end of the message has posted :-S

Not to worry, we now have plenty of porridge and I can have some lovely sausages and mushrooms with my bacon !! :-D :-D :-D

We will now see how much of 'this' message posts itself !
