Just hanging around, waiting for son to bring back a case that he borrowed THIS morning :-|

He was using it to take clothes to charity shop, why he had to use that one I don't know

Everything is ready to chuck into the case and No2 son is here to look after the house

Is the weather any better where you are going than it is here Ginns?

As I said below, I've been feeling off-colour for a couple of days ................ sort of nauseous and a bit of a tummy upset.

I thought I was over it today, I felt great ................. until about 2 hours after I'd had my lunch :-(

We were supposed to go out this evening, but I have called off, and OH is going to go to the reception by himself.

I suppose I've got to look carefully at what I had for lunch ................ which did not contain anything that I haven't been eating without any problems for months :-S

Thank you Dea, it was a good idea to keep it warm for me because I had a phone call at 8.00am to say that the gasman was coming..... :-S


I had a problem the other evening, with my new hob and cooker. All the burner's were 'sparking' because the ignition seemed to have stuck. Just as I was about to do tea of course!!!! :-|

I was originally told that no one could come out for another 8-9 days, so I put on my 'grumpy old woman' voice and they arranged for someone to come today :-D

It appears it was a 'fluke' but the nice young man told me to get back in touch should it ever happen again. I told him not to worry.......I certainly would!! :-D :-D


Hope Gins is having a great time and that Sylvs soon recovers from her tummy probs.

I have spent all day catching up on housework and resting in between but have nearly got things back to normal :-)

Sylvia my tummy has been acting up also don't know if it is the stuff I have been taking for my cold :-(

I did indeed go to bed without preparing breakfast :-(


Today I had what I called my Dea lunch ................. bacon, eggs and half a tomato. All allowed on the diabetic diet, but no wheat or dairy.

I felt OK

and I've been snacking at regular intervals, which seems to help.

The problem I'm facing is that the last time I had something like this was some years ago when I stopped taking Losek on the specialist's advice.

It didn't work, and I was told by the GP never to stop again.

I have not stopped it! I take it every morning before breakfast, and I am up-to-date.
