Night night Dea.....sleep tight.

But, before you go, is there any soup left over ? It sounds delish! :-D

We had our new fire alarms fitted by the fire brigade - easy peasy and they replace them too.

Had a traipse around M & S today but nothing caught my eye. Typical when you have vouchers to spend isn't it?????? :-S

Off to bed soon.

High winds and very heavy rain.

Typical isn't it .................... visitors come in for a week, and the weather is forecast to be the pits for most of the week!

The best it will be seems to be showers on Thursday and Friday!

Well we lost an hour today so am a bit twitchy and out of synch...

so breakfast...

let's start with Fruit Juices: Orange, apple, pineapple, grapefruit, cranberry and tomato..

Hows about a bowl of creamy Scottish oats porridge.

all the packet cereals/mueslies lined up like soldiers.. and fresh fruit and their is canned fruit in the cupboard above the draining board.

Croissants, danishes and for Mr Jones some of Jamie Oliver's cinnamon swirls.

Assorted breads all ready for toasting (or not for those who want a cheese and pickle sarnie or a bacon buttie)

A great mixture of little yoghurts on the shelf in the fridge but if you do want yoghurt would prefer you eat that Vanilla yoghurt that Sylvs put there as there seems to be a bountiful supply.

Okay we have Bacon, pork sausage, sauteed potatoes, grilled tomatoes, sauteed mushrooms, baked beans and black pudding (yuk)

Egg choices: Poached, Fried, scrambled or boiled

Three egg omelette .. choose from these fillings: cheese, tomato, ham, mushroom and onion.. I can even chuck in a few chives for free..

Manx Kippers served with lemon garnish

Tea coffee hot chocolate

Will be back to check the mess..

Good morning everyone.... :-D

Well.....thank you very much Persie, that's looks wonderful.

I think I will begin with the porridge and then, just a little sample of......

everything!!!

Mind you, there DOES rather seem to be a super abundance of those vanilla yoghurts......maybe I had better have a couple of those..... ;-)

When I have finished, I will whip round with the hoover so that Persie doesn't get cross.............

Just been reading about petrol/diesel prices around the world, as cheap as a penny per litre in some places

Rip off Britain :-0

Persie,

Thank you for the cinnamon swirls, very tasty.

Gins,

I doubt that you would enjoy living in the country where petrol costs 1p per ltr. By the way, what has happened to the Blades of late?

Gee

Gee Report 29 Sep 2013 10:44

Jonesey

The Blades, that is a very sore subject. I reckon our prince will be wanting to see some results for his cash injection

Mr Weir is heading for a 'car parking'

I just typed this all out and have lorst it so I will do it all over again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a phone call this mornig fron my grand-daughter who said she had some 'very exciting news' !!!

Grandson had lost his first tooth !!

I thought this happened about 6 - 7 years old and he is only just 5.

However, he could not find it despite searching for several hours under the matress etc.,

'She' thinks he must have swallowed it! ??

I declined to explain to her how he could get it back !! ;-) :-D :-D :-D

I did not like to remind her that she did the same with her first one when she was over here and I told her that the 'fairy' caught it on the way down and whisked it away leaving her a lovely £1 coin wrapped in silver foil. ;-) :-D :-D :-D

My children didn't lose a first tooth until they were 15/17, this meant they couldn't have a brace fitted at the normal time and when they lost all their first teeth, they didn't want to be seen with a brace, not at 18/21ish !

They've got good teeth though, not perfect but good

I have an awful studio photograph of me at six with me smiling a ruddy great toothless grin.

I have never heard of anyone keeping their baby teeth till they were in their teens.
