Dea, I don't 'do' delicious meals - just bog-standard stuff!!

So we are in for torrential rain apparently - but it's only a bit damp here at the moment :-S

I have a few jobs to do and then off to see my friend. If it is pouring by then, we will be staying in I imagine. :-S

French Toast
1) served straight up with syrup
2) three egg dipped slices rolled in cinnamon, brown sugar and oats and griddled to perfection.
3) 2 egg dipped croissants topped with berries, icing sugar and whipped cream.

The porridge is keeping warm in the bain-marie, there is honey or syrup to drizzle on it along with cream or milk.

Garden Vegetable Frittata: Spinach, Tomato, Asparagus, Red Peppers, Egg Whites, Parmesan Cheese

Fish and chips with either tartare sauce, aioli or vinegar.. there is mesclun salad as well.

Gamon bacon, lamb sausages, steak patties, venison patties.

Grilled mushrooms, zucchini and tomatoes with or without cheese on top.

Eggs .. poached, scrambled or fried.. also boiled with soldiers.

Toasted sourdough...

Savoury brioche with spinach and feta or pumpkin and ricotta.

Macaroni cheese, baked beans.

Muffins: coffee and walnut, blueberries and creamcheese, lemon curd.

And a birthday cake with lots of fruit and candied peel in it.

Yes... Dea...

I had lunch out today with my cousin and some of her family and friends.. it was actually a celebration of her birthday but she invited us cause it is mine as well. She is 11 years older than me.. so I was the best 11th birthday present she could meet.
