Good morning everyone... :-D

Grilled pig eh? Smells wonderful to me......thank you Gins... :-D :-D :-D

The GR FB page is littered with complaints about this site as so many people are having problems with one thing or another.

I find it slow on here but, at least I am able to get on! My laptop is 5 years old and my desktop is 8. They are both suffering from slight stiffening of the keyboard joints and their memory isn't what it was but...........they will remain until they give up the ghost!!

I'm also enjoying using my smart phone but it has taken some getting used to. I find the keyboard difficult and slow. I am a touch typist and can type a message within seconds but, on the phone, I feel like a one finger typist all over again :-(

Hope all went well with the check up Sylvs.... <3

I really must put my mind to writing my annual amusing Christmas letter to far flung friends and family. Trouble is, apart from the medics, family and church - what have we done??????

Well, I bought a new clothes prop for the washing line but that is hardly likely to reduce anyone to hysterics.....is it??? :-D

See you later - be good!!

Gee

Gee Report 29 Nov 2013 08:55

I'm sure you can tell your medical experiences with a funny slant Cyns, you're good at that sort of thing

This desktop is about three years old, I do feel they lose performance at about this age no matter what pc cleaners you use. But, it's going to a good home

The new one is wireless so I can get rid of the cables, just needs power

Cynthia Report 29 Nov 2013 16:25

Having looked through the diary and staring blankly at all that white paper, I had a sudden thought!

I usually put what I have been up to on here.....so....for a couple of hours, I have been reading through my posts from last January!!! :-D

My giddy aunt - I think we have covered every subject under the sun - and then some - but it has come up trumps! I have found some things which will, I hope, make people laugh :-D :-D :-D

Now I just need to work up the enthusiasm to type it all out........ :-(

Just trying to give myself a mental nudge........

>>>>>. go on girl

>>>>>>>>>you can do it girl

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Gee

Gee Report 29 Nov 2013 17:22

Glad you have found inspiration Cyns, I'm sure you will write a cracking Christmas letter

Didn't pick up PC as I wouldn't have got it from the car to the house, with my 'claw' and didn't fancy leaving it in the boot all night

Will pick it with JB tomorrow

Got lots of work done today, just about caught up......for now!

sorry I missed breakfast ....... I went to bed early!

re the exam ..........

Everything was fine :-D

I also remembered to ask about the stool exam I had back in August ...... fine

they were even OK about my bp ............... even though it is higher than they would like, it is more or less steady instead of bouncing around all over the place.

Doc said he didn't want to see me for another 6 months ........... ie, the next check-up

I'll probably have to go before then, though ................... to get a new prescription!

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 29 Nov 2013 20:24

Glad everything is okay Sylvs.......but I must ask you a question....

did you have a chair and table exam too....???? :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

A friend has been here for 2 hours so I am trying to catch up with things.

Just been to loook at the details of that awful crash you mentioned Sylvia.....

What a really dreadful thing to have happened.

Linda

Linda Report 30 Nov 2013 22:13

Jonesey nice to see you BUT you want MORE nuts? ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

Gins glad you like your new laptop .

We are off to Berlin tomorrow home t time ish on Wednesday so might not be around till them.

The helicopter crash in Glasgow was dreadful. first responders were on the scene within minutes but even before they got there people were forming human chains to help the injured. Human nature at its best.

There was a minutes silence at the football matches today. Thinking of everyone who has been injured and the families of those who have died <3
