Dea, thank you for that breakfast. You may have noticed that the fried bread is missing....along with some bacon and the tomatoes. I snaffled the lot! ;-)


I saw what happened to your Easter bunnies Linda........shame.......you could be reported to the RSPCA y'know! Never, ever leave an animal in a hot car.....tuts.... ;-)


I got tooooo many eggs when I am trying to be good - but they still taste good :-D

One that we got as a joint gift is fantastic - I've described it on the Christian thread. Too good to eat. :-D


Ah well, off to town soon I think - haircut for himself and a visit to the bank. After that, I will catch up on the ironing from yesterday........bliss..... :-)

Ok two little ones fed and watered. Oldest off to nursery youngest changed and destroying the nice tidy house :-D

Washing done - rain on :-(

Now I can have some of that lovely breakfast :-D thank you Dea.

As it turns out that was all I got done today. The nursery phoned to say O was pale, shivery and complaining of a sore ear :-(

Grampa went to get her and she was almost asleep by the time they got home.

Temperature up again. gave her calpol and she wanted to go to bed but wanted grampa to go with her.

She slept for over 2 hours.

Mummy took her to Docs and her tonsils are still inflamed (cant see past the wax in her ear to see what it is like)

Gave her more antibiotics but not to start them unless she is the same tomorrow :-(

Said an urgent referral to ENT can take 3 weeks (appointment for 13/5)

DIL asked how often O has been at Dr since Christmas.

10 times!! They are lucky it wasn't me that took her up :-|

We don't have them tomorrow as son has day off :-)

Poor little O....are they messing her about :-(

Linds..........unless they are offering £XXXK plus....forget it

That bubble and squeak is lovely Ginns. With the eggs in it is a bit like a Spanish Tortilla so it will be double georgeous when cold. ;-) I will take an extra slice and put it in the fridge for lunch if that's O.K. ? <3 <3 <3

Poor little O. :-( It's really time her problem was sorted once and for all bless her. Tell her parents you will take her to the docs next time Linds......you'll have a way with words I'm sure!!! :-D

Morning all......looks as though I am on breakfast duty today :-D



A choice of eggy bread, crumpets or teacakes for Gins.


For Dea, a humongous amount of bacon with eggs, sausages and mushrooms on the side. A giant barm cake should help with lashings of tea and coffee for everyone.


Off to see our friend's widow this morning, followed by a supermarket shop and lunch with a friend. Not sure about this afternoon but out tonight.

I'm having a day off, Ive got the washing in, the dish washer loaded and Henry will be making an appearance at some point!
