LK - I remember I had several 'work experience' people in when I was in a previous job - Do you have to fill in an assessment form on them which gives them a qualification at the end (was it an NVQ or something similar)?

The questions were something like:

Has he/she answered the telephone?

Has he/she used the photocopier?

Has he/she opened the post?

Has he/she greeted a customer?

etc... etc...

It didn't give any indication as to how often or how well h/she had carried out any of these tasks.

Totally useless!!! - AND they came out with a 'qualification' !!! (which I, for one decided to ignore when taking on any new young staff)!

She was supposedly from a good school.

A had a few things to say to her tutor when she came in today.

she is 3 months preggers too so has missed several sessions from morning sickness.

Oh well she did like stuffing envelopes and we have plenty of that at the moment.

Night all!

Have just been catching up on all the natter on here.

Fans, sounds like you may have the helicobacter pylori bacteria - I had that about 7 years ago. If you want to know anything about what happened send me a message.

ja...x - what a load of twaddle they've been talking on FB. Have told them so, too.

LadyKira

Does that mean fans will fly?

MarieCeleste

MarieCeleste Report 15 Feb 2011 22:51

LK - OMG what a thought!

I think it sounds like a posh name I once found on 1911 census. It must be a bacteria that wears a smoking jacket and a monocle.

Jax will you stop putting yourself down. Your command of the English language and grammar are fine. Anyone can get the wrong end of the stick whether spoken or written but even more so when written.

I understood where you were coming from but I think maybe Phyllis read it differently. If she reviews what has been written I'm sure she will see it differently.

Jax

I have just read it --- I think she was muddle to who she was talking too -- Toots mentioned the supermarkets --

judging by her style --- I have read posts from her before

I distinctly remember the blind son and not remembering anything that is said lately comment

Your replies were fine --- as per usual Dally and GR muddle the whole thing ---Dally just cannot resist telling everyone all her silly tree stuff

Who ever said -- a little knowledge was a dangerous thing " must of be talking about Dally
