Morning to everyone
Well flitting in & flitting off. Everyone is busy today.
I'm just waiting for the Gas man to come and do our annual service. Sometime between 8:00 and 1:00. So not going far yet.

Need to fit in a walk, seems to be helping a bit as I have lost a pound this week. That is hard going for me. Wonder if I walk twice as far I will loose twice as much.

Did some more research yesterday evening. Found some extendedd family but can't find the ones that are missing closer to the tree.

Have a good day everyone. Hoping Jean is a little better and Mo, good to see you back yesterday and healing thoughts always for Rita and her family

Linda ;o) XxX

Explain this pun to a foreign student trying to learn our English language:

'Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.'

Hi everybody, hope Mo and Jean are feeling a little better today.

Rita, you and your family are still having more than your fair share of troubles aren't you? I was hoping the New Year would bring you all a bit better luck.

Dermot, doesn't sound like Fr Mack was a very nice person.

Hope everyone has a good day, I've got to go out again.

Happy Anniversary Shelly.

Edit: I'm going to have a banana now, hope it doesn't have any fruit flies on it!!

Rita, The way it's going I won't be able to retire becuase the government keep on putting the retirement age up!
Dermot Inearly didn't understand the thing about fruit flies and I'm English!
I hope Jean and Mo are feeling better than they were yesterday.
Linda I hope the gas man arrived ok.
Out to do some food shopping x

Hope everyone is OK and enjoy your evening

Hi everyone the sun is out here but it is a tad cld. I did fish and chipsinh the oven for my dinner didnt feel like doing too much cooking

The old guy who washed his wallet in the machine was taken ill in the night, the paramdeics were call in at 1.15 last night but he didnt have to go to hospital. I wondered i it was shock that made him ill.?
poor man.

I have recievd today the note of sale for the land our cottage was built on where I was born and grew up.. it is so strange to see the land being sold for building plots dated Thursday 2nd day of October 1873.
24 rooms and office in the mansion house and hugh grounds(. this is the laugh) it said estimated rental value £140 per annum.
I will have two of them ?

The other one is 4 cottages. one was where I was born .
what fun it has been reseaching all this. all the plans were found at Guildhall in London.
It is amazing what you can uncover.

That's good value Rita, £140 per annum for a 24 room mansion, pity we don't have a time machine.
