Morning All !
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL YOU MOTHERS
Catherine, You forgot to make the breakfast .As it's Mothers Day I'll forgive you.
Marilyn, Your Big Boobs, are those your 'Flip Flops' that Pete told you to cover up in Florida ? ROFL
How did the grandson do at his Rowing ? Was it a Scull, Four or Eight and I nearly forgot, was it a Gig. Gig Rowing is very popular on the South Coast.
Wish I had a £ for every mile I've rowed a boat and paddled a canoe. I could treat you all to a bag of chips.
Looking forward to our walk today and our meal afterwards. The Trossachs area is really lovely, I have been going there for donkeys years, always find something new to interest me though.
Have a nice day ya all............and if you're a Mother.....get pampered.

Morning Cath and Stephen and all others Nice clear morning here. Hoping to get the gate painted today while it is still dry. Did the fence yesterday, but it needs another coat. Lovely meal at my daughters last night, pork medallions, rice and veg, then strawberries and creme fraiche on merangue(pavlova), small glass of cava and good company. Son and his wife were there too. Two nice cards and a bouquet of roses. Thats before the spa day and massage !! Just had a text from our youngest think she'll be over later.
Got the decorating products yesterday, now need to crack on and get that room finished.
Catch you later.
Happy Mothers Day everyone (excluding Stephen and Dermot............... your day will come !!! )

Just a wee thing to think about
What a Friend we have in Mother, She will all our secrets share We should never keep thing from her Tell her all and she'll be there
Oh, What tender loves she gives us, when in sorrow or despair treat her kindly treat her gently She will listen she'll be there
Day by day as she grows older she's the familys guiding star Don't forget the Prayers she taught you You may need them by and by
Though her hair is turned to silver Send her flowers sweet and fair Dropa card or send a letter She will listen she'll be there
When her eyes are closed in slumber Gently kiss her Icy brow Fold her hands upon her bossom She will rest in Heaven now.
Though your days are dark and dreary and your Cross is hard to bear, Don't forget the Prayers she taught you She will listen she'll be there.
I have carried the above Poem with me through thick and thin since 1964.
I know the words by heart.
The last thing I did for my Mum was to kiss her brow and fold her hands over her chest. She was at peace. Her prayers helped me.

Rita, what a carry on you've had, I hope the medication has started to work now and you're feeling a little bit better. I've been thinking about little Ryan and wondering how he was. By the law of averages things have to start to improve for you and your family soon.
Maddie, I've got quite a few of those scarfs, wearing a couple together works as well. Did you get your beef cooked? I Did a duck for dinner today.
Marilyn, are you going for a holiday or as a baby sitter?
I'm waiting to see what Shelly got for Mother's Day.......... especially from the l3 year old.
I know Linda and Mo always do well with the prezzies and I'm sure the rest of you will as well.
Cath and Pat, we can send you the photos of everybody if you want them, I think Jean already has them.
Stephen if I had a £ for every time I'd rowed a boat I'd only be able to buy a bag of chips between us all.
Hope all goes well tomorrow Yvonne, I'll be thinking of you and hubby.

Pualine about time you showed up. ? I have trouble with my tinittus still it is driving me up the wall really is staying at a high pitched ringing no releif at all. I took two pain killers strong ones I said to my daughter if the kill me well too bad, it might be better than having this constant noise I do not expect any help from the law of avergaes I have given up all hope now.
Ryan is home for the weekend he goes back to London tomorrow to St Thomas hospital he has to have another MRI poor little mite my granddaughter asked why ? he had one two days ago at the other hospital. it appears they are ignoring that one they know what they are looking for so want to do their own MRI he will be in for two to three days. his sister Megan is rushing around helping him. I think she is going to be a nurse when she is old enough lol.

Rita, I think it's more like Murphy's law that you live by.
Megan has had enough experiences with hospitals to know exactly what nurses do, I'm sure she'll make a good little nurse for Ryan. Let's hope they find out what's wrong with him and get it put right as soon as possible.

Sitting here waiting for the trifle to arrive Maddie, even if it makes a mess in the cyber hatch, I will lick it all up. Sorry I missed the main meal, but my daughter took me to Bingo this afternoon, and even though we didn't win, it was a most enjoyable time.
I hope that all our mums on here have had a wonderful day.
My children went overboard again, the same as every other year. I have flowers all over the house, and chocolates coming out of my ears. One of my daughter treated me to a box of toiletries from the Body Shop. Who's a lucky girl then, yes me. But to be honest with you, the card I receive means more to me than anything else.

Hi Everyone,
My lot has just gone ...Pewwhhh.
I had a Jamie Oliver cook book from my eldest and 4 cards and the most beautiful bouquet of flowers from my youngest son with a vase.......looks lovely .
I cooked a lamb roast dinner and my grand kids said to their mum & dad why don't you cook like grandma does ..LOL...... I had to laugh as this particular son is a fabulous cook that you wouldn't get any better than in a restaurant.
So here we are getting things back to normal after the storm ..
Hope you all had a great day & lots of goodies.
Shelly I'm dying to know what the boys bought you if any .? ..LOL
