Footie on telly tonight. Come on England!
Mental note to myself. I will not read in bed if I wake up in the middle of the night.....................

My little great grandson Ryan is still in hospital he has a catheter in and his mum phoned and he said I am going to the theatre in a moment to have an op and a camera.
It was right they were going to put a camera down him to see why his water is back to his kidneys they think there is a pea size lump. and looking to see what it is.?
My son Mike is down in the dumps he said I am so depressed Mum I feel as though there is no light at the end of the tunnel.
I said what a family we are. there is me with all my problems my son in Law who had the cancer op has hurt his back
I wish I had a magic wand and could wave it over the family and make thing better.

My sister is doing a walk tomorrow they call it the Clerkenwell walk she said I bet it rains. to think last week we had lovely sunnyweather and now look at it.

Rita
I hope they find the problem that Ryan has and manage to sort things out for him.
fancy not going to the appointment you didn't have !!! It must have upset you to be told off.
Hubby is still in pain with his ear and still using the Otex ear drops. Lets hope that he doesn't have an infection when he has it syringed next Monday.

Hope everyone is OK today. Not too good here though the sun was out at lunchtime, but drizzling when Little M went home.

We were woken this morning around 4:30 am by a young neighbour who had probably had too much to drink. He was curled up next to his parents house moaning and coughing, then he stumbled indoors. I hope he has a headache today as I was awake then until hubby got up and left for work. I was just worried he might have been injured or genuinely ill. But haven't seen anything today.

Have a good evening Finished another book this morning and doing some knitting just before I came online

Linda :o) XxX

PS Marilyn loved the Dutch bulbfields, my mother would like them as she went to Holland when she was young, just after the war I think

Maddie, Good news for you. And now that you're walking on air......don't float away and leave us.........PLEASE.

Rita, What a worrying time for you and your family. Hope it all sorts itself out soon.

Pauline, I live not very far from my daughter, in the shadow of the hills you will have seen in the photos. The Ochil Hills.

Marilyn.............Thought you would have had a 'Welcome Home' Party for all your pals on the Friendly Thread.
Bet your wee lad was really chuffed to bits at his concert
I get really annoyed that lads like him don't get the praise and publicity they deserve. If it was left to the Press they would try and convince us that all young folk were into Drugs and Booze and Sex.

Just like we all were when we were younger. ROFL

Hi Everyone.

Gosh Stevey if I had a welcome home party every time I came home I would be swimming in G& T ...LOL

Yes my grandson was lovely and I was so proud of him .....on Saturday I have to go and see him at his Rowing Club, his new venture joined a couple of months ago, and loving it..Now Stevey can you remember Laria bridge in Plymouth along the embankment as you enter Plymouth ? it leads to where the marines from Hooe in Plymstock reside. well that's where he does his rowing.

I'm now doing some research..

Oh Maddie well done for great news , I'll drink to that ...Cheers !!

Stephen2009

Stephen2009 Report 29 Mar 2011 21:27

Marilyn,

Plymouth ! Where's that ?

Do you know what he will be Rowing ?

Scull, Four or Eight ?

I hope he sticks in, rowing is the best exercise you can do, second only to swimming.

Perhaps a Rowing machine for his Christmas or Birthday Eh !

Swimming in G & T ......thought you already were afloat in it. ROFL
