Hi everyone. Pauline I would not go on that Congo trip without you, I need all the support I can get to keep those mosquito's at bay. I've been having problems with getting on here again today, in fact I am doing a scan now, then will do a defrag to see if it clears any lickle problems up.
Well today was my last day for cat sitting for my son's cat. Blooming little monster decided to wait till today, to let me stroke him. He has refused to come into the house for his food, but today he decided he wanted company, and kept hiding so he wouldn't have to go back out again. Hopefully we will see baby Lilly tomorrow, when she gets back from Scotland.
I can see that Marilyn and Stephen want to play doctors and nurses, or in Stephens place patient and nurse.. lol

Hello Again,
Tomorrow I'm off to see our lovely Queen Elizabeth in Edinburgh.
The Royal Regiment of Scotland are being presented with their new Colours. Only the 4th Battalion will be missing as they are in Afghanistan.
Loads of Pipe Music and other bands. Should be a great day. The weather is to be fine, Magic.
Early shower, early supper, early bed.
Night all ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

Marilyn thats a good idea I will do that weight myself first them myself with the case.
Stephen I watched a programme today showing you the Edinburgh Tattoo and they were swinging the dics and tossing the caber and their kilts went up shame they all had shorts on lol
They showed you the Queen in Scotland on the news she looked so nice in her blue and she certainly did not look as old as she is.
I wonder who will get the off shore gas and oil when Scotland get their independants ?
They let certain students go to the universitys in Sotland free and they charge the English. I am wondering where they will get the money from to afford to do that if they go independant.

Morning All !
Maddie,,,,,,you better hurry and get all spruced up if you're meeting Neil Oliver today ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
It's a glorious morning. Sun splitting the heavens. No wind.( Not even my wind) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
Looking forward to seeing HM Queen Elizabeth today. Wonder if she'll notice me and give me a wave. She meets so many folk but I thought I'd be a face to remember ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
The Royal Regiment of Scotland is the combined force of all the Regiments. This will be the biggest gathering for many many years of Scottish Soldiers. One Battalion will be missing as they are in Afghanistan.
No doubt I will be thinking of my brothers who wore the Kilt proudly. They would have loved to have seen the Parade today. Perhaps they will have a better view that anyone, Who knows? :-D :-D :-D :-D
Have a good day ya all ;-) ;-) ;-)
Keep safe, keep happy, keep smiling. :-) :-) :-) :-)

It was a bit rowdy here last night as well Maddie, the people over the back had a garden party that went on into the early hours. I think it must have been their daughter's eighteenth birthday because there were lots of young girls singing, squealing and laughing all night.
It's a beautiful day here, lovely sunshine and red hot, should be a good day where you're going Stephen.
Hope everyone else has a good day as well.
I'm not sure if this post will come up because I seem to be having trouble with the Internet today. It's taken me about an hour to get onto this site, and I can't blame GR this time because I couldn't even get Google to load up either.
When I started this post it was 7.38 and Maddie's name was the only one up for this morning but there could be half a dozen names up by now because I've waited that long for it to submit............... if it ever submits. :-(

Probably could out ther the length of the grass. Wet and warm it certainly grows.

Morning it is slow Pauline not that I have found it too day . so far. ? but yesterday I seem to take forever to get on sites and that was not just this one either Google was terrible. you could showered and made tea in the time it took that to come up.
your never beleive this I didnt wake till 8.30 I am sitting here having my first cup of tea. I trotted off to bed at 10.30 and was so tired I dropped off to sleep at once. then two hours after went to the loo back to sleep again I would never have woken till my Estate Manager who went out at 9.45 arrived back car lights lite the bedroom up. and the car door slammed so did the flat door. followed but other doors in her flat. so I sat and read some of Daniell Steele book. then laid down and went to sleep. to be woken again by the guy in the flat near me who once again lite the room up. but he went in quietly.
I eventually dropped off to sleep and didnt wake till I was having a nightmare .looked at the clock to find it was 8.30 nightmare in the morning must be another word for that. have a good day everyone.

It has been a nice day here. I didnt go out only to the laundryroom where I did all my washing, went this morning instead of Monday, the sun has been out all day .and it makes the dust show up on the furniture. so I will have to get around to dusting tomorrow. I dont know where the dust came from ? as I dusted yesterday.
I sat and watched a film this afternoon I have seen it so many times of the earfth quake in New York. but needed a rest.so chose that to watch. checking on the films on all chanels they have all been on in the last few weeks I have run out of books to read. so the lady in the flat above sent me three Jeffery Archer books down to read.. I have not read any of his so done know if I will like them, be will have to wait and see.

Hello everyone, I'm back from my hols. I had a nice time in the Isle of Wight. I had a very relaxing time and I read lots of books. Funnily enough I thought of you all at breakfast time becuase I had a real fried brekkie every morning :-D Rita when you go to the Island don't forget to take your bus pass becuase although you can't use it on the open top buses you can use it on the ordinary green buses. I haven't read this thread for the last seven day.s I'll do that after I've unpacked. It's nice to be home <3

The weather was ok. It rained on Tuesday when The coach took us to Newport Market. The weather was good considering. I saw lots of places, Shanklin. Osborne House, Yarmouth, Ryde. It's a nice place. I wouldn't mind go back next year :-) The hotel I was staying at was the Carlton. It was right on the sea front.
