Good evening everyone, your holidays all sound exciting.
I,ve been polishing all day, the estate agent is coming on Friday, so I hope we sell quickly, if not the polishing will never end.
Hope you have a Romantic Anniversary Maddie, and sorry to hear about your nephew Mo, its so sad.
I love Christmas with the family, I just wish they were more inventive with my presents. I only get book voucher's, I must look like a book worm, infact I think with all my books I should open my own library.

Sorry about your nephew Mo, praying for him.

I am very impressed with the Christmas organisation, I dont think of it until the end of November, that is plenty early enough for me. :-)

Hope everyone is well and happy.

Thank you for you good wishes. 38 Years eh? If I'd been sent down for murder, I would have been out sooner. ;-) ;-) ;-)

See you later, may have to swop white trousers for grey ones, dont want splashes up the back of them. Raining again. :-P

See you later.

morning everyone I had my breakfast Cornflakes this morning. only I do love warm milk on them.
you all sound very busy with different projects and dinners. I dont get out that much now with so much illness in the family. we are all struggling to get well.or some just to recover.
That was why I was pleased to go away for a holiday.

My granddaughter emailed me last night a big email took the whole page up. bless her she is now getting excited about her wedding on 10th September The reception is being held in the Lord Bute Hotel it is right next door to Highcliffe Castle on the edge of the New Forest . the wedding is going to be at The Prior Christchurch in Dorset.
My sister and I are booked in at The Kings Hotel in Christchurch
we thought as we are going we might as well make a holiday out of it. so we will go Thursday and come back Tuesday. all I hope is that the weather will be kind to us.

Pat lovely Paris I have been about five times once only driving though and a short stop over, the first time we went I was surprsied at how small the rooms where we tried another place next time the room was nice but a bit noisey. we found we had to go on the edge of Paris to get the best accommadation I cannot recall the name of it now, but everytime we went we had good weather once it was so hot that all the parks were full of people trying to get cooler as some of those blocks of flats are so tall. and hot.

Think I will watch Heir Hunters now and enjoy my second cup of tea.

see you later

Afternoon everyone................ well, if I'd left it a bit later - it would have been evening.

Maddie, hope you had a lovely day for your anniversary, do you buy each other prezzies? We don't, most of the time we don't even remember when it is.

00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 for Jean, hope the treatment does it's job and gets you fit and well again.

Mo, I'm so sorry to hear about your nephew, that poor lad has had a rough time. I'm shocked that his wife let him sleep so long, I'd have been calling an ambulance after 12 hours.

Linda, I'm sure it would help if you sat down and rested for a few hours instead of trying to do everything yourself. Sit down woman and put your feet up.

Hi everyone.
Just a quickie to let you know that my nephew is being sent home. He has a viral infection, that has to work it's way out of his system by itself. No anti-biotics at all. But thank the lord it was nothing to do with his brain problems.

His girlfriend had the flu herself, and didnt take much notice of Marks condition. She's a selfish little madam and cares for no one but herself.
It's unbelieveable their baby was born in may, so who the devil was looking after him, while they were both unwell. It beggars belief doesn't it.
His mother normally pops in daily to see them, but on this occasion she had other things to do.

A happy anniversary Maddie. I love it when a marriage lasts the test of time.

Pauline I too am having trouble with this site, the funny thing is , that it appears to be worse on the friendly thread than on the others. I noticed they have altered the drop-down when you get onto the site it is now a different colour and easier to see but still you have a problem getting through.
Stephen where are you going for your holidays this year . ?

MY daughter is back on crutches she did too much walking on holiday in dorset and has damaged her heel again. my younger son is also having a problem with his heel and have pyhio at the GYM he said it is doing good but costing him a fortune.
My son in law is at the hospital meeting they have a meeting with all the oithers who had the same cancer operation as he did. they talk things over. what they eat and things like that.
My Granddaughter has also been at the hospital so we are back to that again.

morning. I had a bad night tossing and turning all my aches and pains. lovely getting old and getting all these things.

But the sky is blue and the sun is appearing so that will cheer me up. I was up at six made a cup of tea and watched the news. The news gets worse everyday.

All this problem with the Euro and Greece. I thought Greece had put in to have the Games there ? but I must have made a mistake as they are flat broke. Thank god we didnt go into that section Euro money.

back later.
