Morning all you lovely people
Maybe I missed that Pauline was going on holiday. she needs it she seems to be doing a lot. I hope her weather is nice for her. I think a lot of holidays you need the sun unless your going sking then it does not really matter. Stephen did do the handstand in his kilt a lot of ladys had to go and buy sun glasses and the shop sold out. they asked him to do it again when they restocked but he was too shy??????????. Marilyn you certianly see life with all your visits and meals you go out too. I wonder you have time for a holiday sometimes. and ALL THAT TYPING THIS MORNING. ARE YOUR NAILS DAMAGED ? LOL

A group of girlfriends, all aged 40, discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was agreed that they would meet at the Ocean View restaurant because the waiters there were handsome, with tight trousers and nice bums.
Ten years later, at age 50, the friends once again discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was agreed that they would meet at the Ocean View restaurant because the food was good and the wine selection was excellent.
Ten years later, at age 60, the friends again discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was agreed that they would meet at the Ocean View restaurant because they could dine in peace and quiet and the restaurant had a beautiful view of the sea.
Ten years later, at age 70, the friends discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was agreed that they would meet at the Ocean View restaurant because the restaurant was wheelchair accessible and had a lift.
Ten years later, at age 80, the friends discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was agreed that they would meet at the Ocean View restaurant because they had never been there before.

Morning everyone, Sat at my desk. Thanks for the brekkie Jean. Rita it's nice and sunny here. Rita I think as long as it stays dry than that's better than nothing. My next break isn't until 19th August :-0

Dermot your at it again with your little laughs to start the day off.
Pat I have good weather here as well the sun is reflecting on the flats opposite mine and i have had to draw the curtains (I better say close the curtains as someone like Dermot would say what colour did you draw them ?) I agree as long as Pauline gets dry weather but it is better if she gets a bit of sun as well. you feel better when you can wear a nice summer dress or shorts and tee shirt. No I dont wear shorts lol
Pat I go away on 8th September for a week to Dorset. I might pop up to London for a week before that. I will have to see how I feel.
I had my shower at 7 .30 and then remembered I was going to do some weeding. trust me to get things going the wrong way.

I have just heard on the radio that we have a big fire in a wood warehouse in Horsell Woking. they are drawing water from out Lake at Goldsworth Park I live right near the Lake. it is about a mile and ahalf all round I use to walk it three times a day for exercise. the Sea scouts use it with their sail boats and the men have a club where they sail their boats some sunday mornings. It is use for fishing as well.

Morning all, I'm not on holiday, I'm still here. I've been busy helping someone to sort her tree out.
No wonder she got mixed up, a sister and a brother married a brother and a sister and one brother married his brother's wife's niece. And after sorting it all out, I found that they were all part of my family............... all those mixed up brothers and sisters were siblings of my great x3 grandfather. Talk about keeping it in the family!!
I'll have to go and read the thread now to see what I've missed.

OK, I've caught up a bit now.
Good news about your scans Jean, really pleased about that. Scarlett looks lovely, she's growing fast.
Dermot, I liked the bit about not being able to say things when drunk..........LOL :-D
I can't remember what I read now!!
Hello George, that's quite a striking stance you have there..... :-)
Bet you don't look anything like that avatar............... I don't look anything like mine! I'm tall and slim with long blonde hair and big boobs........ and I'm 29 next year.
It's a horrible day here, cold and dull, hope it brightens up before I go for my shopping.

Pauline your nose must have grown a lot after kidding George about your age. ? dont you just wish you were 29 next year. I know I do.
How starnge to get that tree up and find you have a connection that must be a first. I am looking at names I can add to my research but I dont want to lose my beautiful butterfly.and the names go on the same page.
I have been outside and weeded my bit of garden. it isnt bigger than a postage stamp but it sure had alot of weeds in among the plants. I pulled out two more cabbage like plants and something that was about 4 feet high another weed. I am resting now.before getting my dinner on. I dare not sit down in the arm chair as I will go to sleep.

Pat, James Nesbitt is nice, so are Jason Statham and Matt Damon ;-) Jean, Scarlett is gorgeous :-D :-D :-D Pauline, those emails made me laugh out loud, in fact I nearly spluttered coffee all over computer at the old folks antics. Talking of laughing out loud, hands up if you think Stevey should do a handstand in his kilt. 000000000000 for Jean. (((((hugs))))) for all,

Oooh Oooh, my hand is in the air Cath, in the other hand I have got my magnifying glass, what where and when is it going to be happening, can I sell tickets? LOL
George, Maddie (Motown girl)and myself met Foggy at the Victoria meet earlier this year. He is a real gentleman, and it was a privilege to have met him. Thankfully or unfortunately our Marilyn was once again away on holiday, or she would have smothered him, as she loves a proper gentleman.
Pauline, have you got many splinters from that family tree you were up for so long. Normally it's our Shelly who goes missing for days at a time. But then she just loves it when we call out the firemen to rescue her.
Hmmm somethings not right here Maddie, Pauline told me she was 21 so how come she has gained so many years overnight. Has she been telling us pork pies.
I must apologise if the photo of myself offended anyone. But you as can see I have trouble finding the soap when I drop it in the shower. lol
Hi Rita, I bet the garden is looking great now, after your hard graft on it this morning. I hope your back doesn't start to ache after doing it love.

Have I missed something about George I cannot see anything on the other typings. who met George and is it this George who is on here?
I have had to shut my windows AS THE FIRE in the wood yard is still going they said it started about 3 or 4 o'clock this morning and maybe supicious ? millions of pounds of wood have gone up in smoke. and it is in the air it really takes your breath away. thank goodness I did the weeding this morning I would never have been alble to work outside in this.
I have a filling come out of my tooth and my dentist is away getting married do you think she will fill it for me while on her honeymoon ?

That little line served me well in exams Dermot.
Can you all see that my hand is up?
Will you be able to manage the handstand Stephen?
I always found headstands easier to do, I had weak skinny arms.
