Pauline did you noticed I nicked Georges Zimmer frame? see he didnt really need it, in his photo he is walking without it.

Marilyn you need to get one of those long armed grips where you can reach and get things down without climbing .or bending

Agatha you get more fun on here than Ancestry, and they alter things on there when things become easy they change the format. I like the old way they had where when you did a census check you got the whole census and it was so much easier than it is now.

Dermot glad you enjoyed the Sidmouth Festival. I notice your research names have changed so what happened ?I dont know anyone with the name of Myth or Legends LOL I knew the Piffle and Balderdash

Have a good day all.
dont forget WDYTYA this week on Wednesday 10th J BBC1 at 9 'oclock June Brown (Dot Cotton out of East enders. )

After being married for thirty years, a wife asked her husband to describe her.

He looked at her slowly: then said, "You're A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K."

She asks "What does all that mean?"

He said, "Adorable, Beautiful, Cute, Delightful, Elegant, Foxy, Gorgeous, Hot."

She smiled happily and said: "Oh, that's so lovely...... What about I, J, K?"

He said, "I'm Just Kidding!"

His eye is still swollen....but it will get better.

George there was me thinking it was a picture of you ? now you tell me it was Foggy i must say he looks a proper GENT.

I love going to London and wandering around. my sister and I go to all the museums, The Imperial war one is one of my favourties and Hendon Air Museum. and of course the Horse guards. so I dont get to see the shops.

Maddie my sister went to Brent cross today and said they have some more shops there now. but she misses HMV,

Do you mean you have been married 30 years Dermot ? and only got two black eyes.?
everytime I do a research on your family lines you delete and find something else. Piffle, Badlerdash, Myths and Legends now you have deleted and started again,

I wonder how our Jean is today ? we have a lot missing off the thread. at the moment.

It is my baby son's birthday tomorrow he is only 6 foot 4 inchs tall weights about 16 stone and is 54 he weighed 7 lbs 5 ozs when born so has grown a little LOL

Maybe George is secretly like James Bond marilyn and his stick turns into a machine gun and when he has rid the world of all the baddies he jumps into a sports car with a glamorous lady and makes his escape.
Morning everyone, hope you have a nice day out Marilyn and that everyone has a super sunday.
My uncle is a methodist and travels round preaching, and many years ago he was preaching about thou shalt not steal and while he was preaching someone stole his motor bike, the story made it to the US newspapers.

Hi everyone.

Marilyn, I think Shelly said she wouldn't be on here for a few weeks, well......... I think that's what she said....... although she did pop in after saying it. Hope you have a lovely day with your nephew.

Agatha, you could always put that spy thing on the 7 word story.... :-D :-D

Can you send some of that sun up here Maddie, it's dull and damp, we could do with a little bit of sunshine.

Wonder how Stephen's getting on in that boat of his.

This week I had 2 people contact me through Ancestry about my Lingham family, one in Australia and one from NZ, so I'm hoping for some exchange of info.

I have been busy today so have not been on this site., talk about troubles My daughter phoned to saym she had to take her husband (steve to Hillingdon Hospital ) he was cleaning the carpet and slipped on a bit of water on the kitchen floor. my daughter was up stairs in her office, he called out to her for help. she found him laying there blood everywhere he sliped and caught his arm on a wire veg rack. there was blood everywhere. she put a towel over his arm and took him straigh to the hospital they were seen to right away he had to have six stitches in his arm, and given antibiotics. she had phoned her son to tell him about the kitchen and not to worry about it she had to get to the hosptial quickly so didn have time to clean the floor. It worries me he had that big cancer operation a year ago and is still very weak he wanted to help my daughter out.
Then my granddaughter arrived at her mothers house with the children little Ryan was on crutches he had torn a ligiment he was crying he didnt like the cruitches byut his nan explained to him he would get better quicker if he used them to walk about. His Mum has to have her CT scan on Tuesday.
Then my other son Mike emailed me to say his consultant was worried as one of his stitches from the removal of his kidney would not heal he had that done in february so he is seeing someone in the week his daughter hurt her back and was in alot of pain so he phoned for the paramedics the one that arrived reconised Mike (being a parmadic hisself ) they took her to hospital onto a back board and a neck collar fior an xray incase she had more damaged she didn and was allowed home a few hours afterwards they gave her strong pain killers. so you see it is still happening we have a curse on us as a family,.

This trouble in Tottenham is caused by youths black and white they wanted to cause trouble to allow the police to get the blame. the CCTV camera will show black / white youths throwing great big rocks at the police and threatening them with bars this allowed the others to loot where ever they could, I hope the little so and so get a stiff sentence for all the damaged they have caused to pople homes, cars and shops the judges are too lienient on them.
during the war they would have been shot for looting.they carry these weapons about with them saying it is for potection if they didnt carry them about they would'nt need to potect themselves., have they never herd of fists.

it sickens me with they way these gangas are running riots.

Oh Rita it just goes to show accidents at home can easily happen. :-0
I hope Mike is ok <3 Life goes like that sometimes. Something happening to everyone all at the same time.
I've just watched Joanna Lumley going down the Nile. A fascinating programme. She's following the River Nile from the sea to its source. It's about 4,000 miles.
