Hi Agather, Dame Shelly and Rita.

Not long got in as I have been into town today to get a few things.
I seem to be getting a lot of discomfort in my legs today, probably to much walking.

Rita, I was under the impression any thread that is a debate one can put what they like, why delete, if a few don't like what you put...so what..
I don't agree whit quite a lot I read on here, but would never report anyone, that is not free speech.
It smacks of, ( if you don't agree with me it#s wrong ).

Don't worry about it,
If some of those on here don't like anything I write...too bad.

I never made it on yesterday. I was busy.!
Rita, I've read Miss Purdy's Class. I read it 8.2.2009 and I've also read a Family of Women. I read that 19..11.2010. I keep a log of the books I read. :-D
I normally have trouble submitting to the Doubles page :-P
I haven't been to any shop buying any books!. I'm trying to catch up reading the ones by my chair! I remember I got some books with my Christmas money and I could hardly lift the bag but I managed.

I complained to GR about getting the error page when trying to get on Friendly .....Hmmm it looks like its been cleared :-D

Hello George Foggy Pat. Marilyn Shelly and Agatha Jean and anyone else who pops in.

I was surprised when I got back from shopping and logged on to see if I had any emails to find I had one from GR giving me a warning on the thread Riots I read the thread and Rambling Rose was telling people it was her that did it. she didnt like what I had put and thought I was being Racist and she didnt like bigots I was upset, as you know I would not do anthing to upset someone. so I deleted anything I had said on the threads for the past few days even some remarks I had made on Friendly .
I told her I had deleted all my threads and if she had asked me to because she thought it was offence I would have done. she said she didnt as I am not on the threads that long
so I said I was not going to post anything again. It did upset me as to me it is a Life thread where when I feel low I can get on and read and reply.I also replied to GR .

anyway I shall be very careful what I write now. I PM Pauline t tell her incase I didnt get back on. GR site was closed for a while as they were sorting the thread out. they have sent a letter out which I beleive tells you about the errors they got.

maddie i also have a birth cert that there are 2 of them and dont no what one to get same name same place of birth
but i think if you get the cert from the gro site and give them mother and fathers name thay will do a check befor thay send the cert out

marilyn i like reading but when i have a book to read i dont like to put it down till i have read it

Wonder how Stephen is enjoying his holiday.
I hope anyone who has been poorly is feeling better now.

The side effects I've been having to the chemo are not as bad now, my body must be getting used to the drugs now.
Scarlett is fine, full of mischief, just a normal 17 month old, and I love her to bits.

Jean I'm glad you don't feel too bad this time, like you said your body is probably getting used to the drugs. Take care to rest up whenever possible though. I bet Scarlett is gorgeous. :-D
Rita don't let people upset you on the boards, we all have different opinions and just because we disagree with others doesn't mean we are wrong and they are right or vice versa.

I suppose we are living through the 2nd Elizabethan era.

From what I read about Queen Elizabeth I, times were hard then too. They suffered from the odd bout of looting & pillaging also.

Sorry I have been absent. Still not really myself, but I will get there. Not sure retiring was the best thing. I don't feel like I have achieved much?
The garden is tidier, but hubby has been cutting shrubs back and edging the lawn as it grows so quickly when it is damp and warm.
Have been for a walk this morning, we took the car in for a service and walked back from the garage.
It's overcast so not very nice.
Our daughter is at the hospital this morning for a scan and might be given a more accurate date. Will let you know as she has had some problems.
Have just booked some time away, we are off to Cornwall, 2 different B&B's after a couple of nights in Usk where we will go to the Country show.
Glad the treatment is going along OK Jean.
Hope everyone else is well too.

I'll try harder to keep adding each day and keep in touch
