Evening everyone.

It's been horrible here, rained all day and very dark. Looks like everyone in the country had the same weather.

Couldn't post this morning, kept getting the Error message........... not sure if this'll post either.

So what was wrong with you Shelly? Have you got a bug?

Might go to Mo's for my dinner, she took loads of money to the shops so she must have too much food for just the 2 of them.

Hi all
Rain on and off most of today.
Just had a storm right overhead, thunder, lightening and hailstones. Just phoned ahead to our friend at the Reading Festival and warned them to get into the big tents and undercover. Several tents were washed through last night and the occupants had to be put up in the big tents. Also found out I had a niece there too, hoping she is OK.
Son and his wife are camping in Boscastle so hope it is better down there.
Son in laws Mum is also camping , they are in Dorset near Pimperne.
Oh well this is England in the summer. Didn't some fool say in May that we would have to have a hosepipe ban!!! due to the lack of rain. Ha Ha LOL

Pauline, you wouldn't have wanted what I had for dinner. By the time Roly got home to take me shopping, it was nearly 4 p.m. I had been waiting for him to return since I did my earlier posting this morning.
He only had to sit in our son's showroom, whilst daugther in law had to go on a course for speeding in her car.
By the time we had finished shopping, I couldn't be bothered to cook, so I had a burger and chips, and Roly had a kebab, anything for quickness as we were so hungry.

Hi Linda, no storms...lol, if I had one so would you, I am only down the road from you in Hampshire, so we probably get the same weather.

Raining a little at the moment.

what can I say about the weather nothing . no good it wont change it. ? we had rain and rain and more rain then the sun came out I got ready to go and post some mail to USA and Italy and sat down for a minute and fell asleep I woke an hour afterwards the sun came out so I took the letters over to the post office and brought a loaf of bread came out of Waitrose surprise RAIN..

I had the doctor who does my feet come at 1 oclock. they felt lovely afterwards of course it could be he is young good looking and drives a posh car ROL

Marilyn is Rose leaving ? as there is a thread she has put out and I cannot make head or tail of what is going on. but then I am thick.

I have had my grand daughter all day .......and she's been on my lappy most of the day ,took her to the park Uggh I hate parks .

I have just come home from dropping her off !! I'm going to crawl into bed now.

Sun is out this morning but there is a chilly breeze too.
Have some work to do on my tree today once the dreaded housework is done. I have found an ancestor who apparently gave birth to her first child when only 12!!!!!!!! Poor girl. Need to investigate that further.

I had to laugh at your words Linda as I had been speaking to a Polish lady yesterday and we were disgussing the way we Brits greet each other and what we say.? I said I usualy ask how their family is and the next sub ject our weather.

Cath I found it very chilly when I got up this morning. I went to make a cup of tea at 6.30 and took it back to bed along with a book as it was too early to get up. and I had to put a thicker dressing gown on. although the sky is blue but I can see lots of clouds so I dont hold out too much hope we will have a good day.

I am not going anywhere so it will not affect me.

Cath ...funny you should mention about that 12year old giving birth , I found one last week that got married at 14years and had a baby 7mths before the marriage :-S

Just a thought ....Oh dear I will be in New York a week on Tuesday I keep looking at that Hurricane Irene gosh I hope its been & gone ,well it should have been ,but wonders what devastation it leaves behind .

marilyn i posted yesterday
dont no whats going on with my belly but still dont feel to good
feels like my ribs are brused but i carnt see how

think its my whaight still seem to be puting in on rather than lossing it
and i dont eat that much
see its 1.30 and iv only just had 2 slice of toast and a cup of tea
and pribly want eat again now till tea time

Shelly....You need to see a doctor !! not that you are ill but you may have Thyroid problems I did ...I was putting on weight and not eating that much, its a simple blood test ....now be a good brave girl and go see your doctor :-D

I'm up someone's tree and might need Shelly 's help SOOOON :-S

Son just come back from Spain its 35 degrees out there ...not fair is it ..LOL

Afternoon everyone we had heavy rain this afternoon we have big blsck clouds overhead and a wind that is bending the trees it came all of a sudden.I had to put a caridgan on as it got chilly.

My sister late husbands friend was over from New York this week he took her out to dinner and then they went touring London till it start to rain so they ended up in the Tate Gallery He went home on Thursday she is waiting to here how things are. in New York,.


I had my gas and electric bill in this morning (isnt that exciting ?) I pay monthly and they told me I owed them £21 for my Electric but they owed me £121.79 Gas rebate and was paying it into my bank. so that was a nice suprise. could do with more of those.

I dont think the Nottinghill Carnival will be crowed tomorrow if the weather is stormy and windy. shame all that hard work they have getting ready and making the clothes for it every year. I understand they are to finish early due to trouble makers which are expected.

My son has at last managed to get flights for us all leaving Gatwick on 7th. September whoooooo. really looking forward to basking in the sun.
It has cheered him up seeing as he has lost his job recently, and they all need a break.

I shall don my trunks and laze around in the pool...lolol.
