she then came back and said I have put it in your fridge for you. and while I AM here could l put some of my food in your fridge while I defrost my fridge I said yes but I dont know how much room I have ? as I am trying to do mine this week.
she said you can put yours in mine if you want to defrost.surprise surprise I wnder what she is up too. ?

Ooooh Rita, you are such a softy. I would not have given that Estate manager the time off day,let alone the milk. If I felt that the workmen deserved a cuppa,I would have made it myself, rather than give that cow the satisfaction off saying "oh I made the workmen a drink",when in fact she could not have made one for them without your help. She then gets all the praise, and appears to be doing her job.
She is still taking, and not giving anything back.
Sorry,rant over. Luv ya Rita.

Oh Things are looking up Rita ...

Maybe your manager has had a little word in her ear.!

Keep it up and you may have her tied to your little finger ..LOL

I have just made a fish pie, and I want to eat it NOW !!

But I best wait a bit longer.

Shelly I am still on the right track.
What happend ....when Thomas Hutchings was 7yrs he was left with his
Grandparents in Dartingtn Devon, and that's why I didn't know who his parents where , 10yrs later there he was with his family in Plymouth.

So there you have it....Thanks again.

LOL Shelly, that estate manager wouldn't stand a chance against Mo and Marilyn, they'd put her in her place.

Rita, I agree with Mo, you're far too soft. That woman wouldn't have offered to let you use her fridge if she didn't want to use yours first.

Oh I do hope I have not offended you Rita. But that womans attitude really cheeses me off. I think the older I become, the more I am aware off people taking liberties with us oldies.
Don't worry Pauline,I will get Marilyn to go in before me,and I will take whats left off her. Finish her off like. LOL And Shelly can be our bodyguard.
If you read in the papers,"three women arrested, for giving a woman a tongue licking," you will know it's us.

GRMarilyn Report 12 Apr 2010 18:49

Well I wouldn't have given her the chance to let her go as far as she has done.

Would have nipped it in the bud ......her bud sooner...LOL

Oh I got two sons arguing at the moment they are 39 & 43 all over the kids not receiving their birthday presents on time.....can you believe it ??

I'm going to have to sort them both out soon as I'm in the middle !!

Off now for my dinner..

Thats family for you Marilyn. We have the same problem here. Youngest son always forgets the nephews and nieces birthdates,so it is up to me to remind him. And if I forget, war breaks out between the five off them. It's like well he remembered so and so's birthday,he cant win,or should I say I cant win.
I hope Rita is o.k. I should hate to think I have upset her.

GRMarilyn Report 12 Apr 2010 19:56

Mo,

Rita is fine she's a tough old bird ...Or shall I say Young Bird .!!

Now I have told these Sons of mine to forget ALL kids presents for birthdays and just send Christmas ones.
They get so much all year anyway ...that will sort all the remembering who's birthday is next ...

Mo its been like this every time there is a birthday .
So we families are all alike....

Mo Pailine and Shelly and Mailyn you have made me laugh no one had upset me I am pleased you can see it isnt me but her.

I think she must have taken some pills to make her the way she is today or ti could be she is in her 30 s and we have had five or six young men here doing the pull cord system they all are very good looking and have a lot of charm. she seems to be spending a lot of time talking to them. she came and got her stuff from my fridge and thanked me for letting her use the fridge I dont like to upset people and I am not going to have her come back and say I had been awful and not helpful to her. but I laughed as one of the guys was speaking to me about the new system and I asked him where did he get his beaker from he said the lady in that flat meaning her I said Cheeky monkey that is one of mine I filled it with milk once for her to give the gardeners some tea and she didnt give it back to me I will; tell her tomorrow when I see her I know it isnt hers as they were specially brought for me by my son when he went abroad for his holidays once. I had not missed it as I use two only the others i keep in the cupboard
she ia polish and dosent use milk so she asks me when she gives the contracters tea if she isnt here I make it for them and give rhem a biccie

Thank god for that Rita. My mouth tends to run away with me at times.
It's funny that we can read her like a book. Make sure she gives you your mug back. After all,it could become a family heirloom, and be worth millions in years to come. lol
I watch cash in the attic dont ya know, and the things that we bought way back when, are now worth a fortune, and we threw them away thinking they were outdated. huh just shows doesn't it.

Oh girls, you do make me laugh when I am reading this at night!

Rita, I am sure you hung on to that mug - what a cheeky mare she is, make sure if you lend her anything else it's in something old - maybe keep a spare milkbottle nice and clean and pour out just enough milk when she is on the scrounge, it's not right you should provide it anyway really but glad the chaps were good and got your cords etc fixed first.
Mind out if you put your stuff in her fridge, she might eat something you were looking forward to for your tea lol

Mo, now you know why I can't throw things away, and hoard so much, it's cos I think one day it will be handy, or worth a few bob lol
Mind you my wealthy brother with the old rectory and 5 acres of land got the nicest things, the copper kettle and copper jugs etc and my aunt's treadle sewing machine which was supposed to be for me. He only wanted it to put in his hall as a table for flowers, not to use!

Take care girls, hope today is bright and sunny.
Counselling went well, she said at one point, it's not encouraged by the counselling heads but I feel I really want to give you a hug. Bless her, I said oh well, I will take it as having had it then, figuratively, so no rules broken but it gave me a warm glow.

Hey whats going on here I see some are up before me this morning I got up at 7 my usual time lately . I thought I would have a cup of tea and see if I had any emails of course one but I have 6 so I answered those first.
Mo I dont know why you thought you had upset me ? I take a lot really but if I get upset I speak out and say so you will know I am upset. I would send a kite with a baloon full of water over your house and bust it by remote control so it landed down your chimney how about that then ? tell me now you don t have a chimney lol
I have not tackled her about my beaker yet but I want that back I have a cupboard full of old ones if she wants them
I have to go and get dressed now as the men are due back at 9 to fiinish off the pull cord system.

Shelly it's cold and wet here, horrible day.

Thanks for the offer of the heating but the gas-man was here till 6pm last night and got it going for me. I'm still getting a new system in next week but we couldn't go a week without heat and hot water so he managed to get it sorted for me. Just as well because it's like winter again today.

Rita

Rita Report 13 Apr 2010 11:42

Pauline do you live in the NORTH POLE aera ? we have warm sunny weather here if I put the heating on I would be too hot. I am pleased you got your heating fixed though that is awful when you feel the cold and cannot get warm. I had that once when I lived in Norfolk lving on the coast you got the sea mist as well and that was like a sheet of ice if you wernt out in. I was going to a dinner and dance at Great Yarmouth Town Hall with my friend when all my heating shut down and it was extra cold winter. I said I would not go to the dinner and dance my friend said phone someone I phoned the guy I used as a Plumber and heating engineer
( My husband had died at this time that was his trade ) David came and said go to your dinner and I will see to the heating and leave your spare key on the table he did he even had to drive into Norwuch to get a special part for the boiler . I didnt get home till 12 and the bungalow was all warm and cosy he left a little note to tell me what he had done and said I will call you tomorrow which he did he gave me the bill for the parts and didnt charge me for the petrol or the time it took him.to drive into Norwich
I thought that was a really nice thing to do. you dont get many like him these days.
