Hi All
See no one is about it must be the fresh air keeping you all busy.
I was given a news paper today by the man in the flat above me he had picked it up at an old people club he thought I might like to read it and marked the bit. it appears the problem I have highlighted to you is happening all over england with these warden assisted homes and some of the stories in them are really disgusting the way elderly people are being treated I thought mine was bad enough but then mine is ownership flat where as these other because they complain are told by the council to pay up or get out. no wonder they have started to get to the MPs who want to be elected with questions.
They are paying for something they are not getting.
What a world we are living in .

well let me step down of my orange box.
The window man came and said he will come and do the windows he tested the outside and said it was all soft and he could see through from the outside to the inside no wonder I have felt cold all winter even with the heating full on. so I have to wait nowfor a call from them.

Shelly, is Olly OK?

Hip Hip hooray,go Rita go. We are all behind you love,stand up for your rights. ( Provides Rita with a step ladder ) there thats better than the orange box. I read about it in our paper as well,and was disgusted by it all. A poor lady waited 5 hours for help,in her sheltered housing complex. Staff ignored her cries for help,even though she had pulled the alarm cord.
Now don't you all think that that is an awful thing to have happened. The cord is supposed to be a life line for those in need.
Well done Linda,on completing your needlework task. You can give your poor fingers a rest now.
It's a great feeling getting the washing on the line isn't it Linda.
Do we need to send out the search parties for Marilyn,she could be lost out on them there moors.
Pauline,you are so right,we pensioners do need someone to speak out for us. Are you going to volunteer. LOL Nobody seems to hear what us

I hope Olly got on alright today. We can only hope that no news is good news.

baby only had a checkup today

he went to day thay say finger no problem and can hopefully do soon even though there is a bone there

now emagen a wish bone cos that how it looks so will have to have the rest of the bone filled down

now toe is almost the same but he has to see a diffrent DR for that as thay may not beable do to eny think about it.

some think to do with the blood vessals being atach to the other toe unless he has both toes off and if that is the case daughter will leve both toe on

but he did have the nurses dribbling over him lol

With a smile like his, no wonder he had the nurses dribbling over him Shelly.....lol

I hope they get it sorted quick so your daughter doesn't have time to sit and worry about it.


No good me standing up and speaking out for you Mo, with my dainty little mouth and quiet voice, nobody would hear me. We need to find somebody loud........now where did Marilyn get to....lol

Oooh( tongue in cheek) Pauline,I hate to say this,but Marilyn is one off us.lol We need a nice young voice to speak up for us,even if it is a little quiet. We can supply you with a loud hailer if you need it.

Shelley I do hope they can sort little ollie out quickly it must be a terrible worry to you all I know it would worry me. but they do wonderful things for young babies and kiddies one of my little Great Grandchildren Megan has had a lot of operations as she was born with a hole in her bowel so she has to have these little ops every now and again as she grows.

If Marilyn gets lost on the moors she will have met the ash clouds from the Volcamo what a problem that has turned out to be. you would never think somthing as far away as that would intrupt so many countries and people. so much for all this talk on climate change getting it ramed down our throats all the time when a natural source such as this can do so much damage. I wonder what they will; blame this onto ?

I am going to watch the debate tonight on TV I want to see what these polititions say and listen to their explaining why they promise these things to voters then when they get in they line their own pockets.
They are trying to bribe us all.

I'm worn out ....been to the Park in in fact two of them. Did not get near the moors......

Trouble is as you get older it does make you speak your mind a bit more firmly ...I am a sweetie really ........but FIRM ,,LOL

Just had dinner so now going to watch telly.

I have had a pile of cards already. Marks vouchers from my friends, herb growing kit from a childminding friend, money from my FIL and money from my hubby.

So now I need to shop shop shop !!!

My children are all coming tonight. My son is taking me to a huge garden centre on Sunday, so I can choose for myself.

Hi Girls,

well it was a funny night last night I looked out the window at 3 in the morning to see the sky a black/grey now I am not sure if it could have been the Ash from the volcano or just the night. but it was really errie.
I was gasping for air so I opened the window slightly , I normally sleep with the window open but worried because of this.
This morning it is lovely blue sky overhead but in the distance I can see the dark/grey clouds.
Still it has added to excitment for some people.

Hope you all have a good day today. My sister is coming over at 11 oclock if the transport is running on time.so it will be a day of gossip. I can hardly wait. lol.
