Morning Marilyn and Linda

Marilyn you make me laugh your on at Linda about cakes extra and then you tell us your making a rhubarb crumble and brought a Lemon Pie now tell us all that it is not for you but the others. Lol

Linda I hope things goes well for you today I am gaining weight my doctor said it could be I had to double up on my steriods and when they have settled down it will go back to normal .I hope so.

I had breakfast, did the washing up. stripped the beds and put clean cover on. had a shower and sorted out my dinner fo this evening chicken. I usually eat lunchtime but not when I go to the hospital as I feel sick till I have been there.

Linda, my bluebells haven't even opened up yet, it'll be about another 2 weeks before they open, just goes to show the difference in the weather up here.

It's a shame you have to stick to salads and no sweet when you go out for a meal. As long as you can fit into your outfit for the wedding, that's the main thing for now.

Lady, looks like he knows his way around the legal system, but he can't put it off for ever - they'll get him in the end. I hope the end result is worth the wait.

Mo, how did it go at the darts, did you win?

You see we don't send each-other cards as that failed severely years ago LOL

But we still love each other......Awwwwhhhhh its just that you see time fly by.

Now and again we do talk about our wedding day ,and I think Pete is glad he married ME !!!! gotta think that way .....haven't you ???? LOL

So tonight RITA I will have my rhubarb crumble because its my anniversary and I cant think of the last time I ever had a pudding .just one dollop wont
hurt !.....will it ?

Shelly I cant fit anymore around my table tonight........so you will all be welcome but have to sit on the floor..... got loads of cushions.

Pauline my bluebells are all out now, and they look luverly.
Well,now darts last night. The county player in the opposing team was not
playing last night,anddddd we won 5-0 yippeee.
We have got the semi finals,and finals on one night,in two weeks time.
The only problem is,two off our team are on holiday then,and we have got to play two substitutes,who do not play during the season.
Oh well,we did not expect to win last night,so it's a bonus to have got this far.

I hope Rita and Linda got on o.k,at there respective appointments today.

Thank you Mo, Yes he is proud of me really but I have to have the whip out at the ready for him... have to keep him in the custom he's used too LOL


I'm cooking dinner for tonight.... but just popped in to see everyone.

yes Mo I am OK thank you. I was told they are well pleased with me and glad the ptreamtment I had at the begining of my cancer which was injection of inferon AlphaThe cancer is the same now as it was 1 year ago no change and I have to have another scan in three months time. then they will get me to have another appointment to see them. but if I have any probnem before then to phone them at St Lukes.
he only thing that hurts at the moment is where they stuck the needle in to take more blood.

I hope Linds got on well.

So glad to read your good news Rita.

Congratulations Marilyn 44 years well done. Most of us older ones do work harder at our marriages and seem to stay together. Sometimes the youngsters seem to have it too easy to get divorced. I hope we have been a good example to our own families.
My parents reach 60 years in November this year. I will get to 37 years at the end of June.

The nurse was disappointed but surprised I had gained over a pound !!! I knew it so wasn't so upset. Marilyn I'm not actually diabetic, just close to and have glucose intolerance. Maybe if I had medication it would help?
I still think it is because of the hospital registrar lowering the thyroxine back in Feb.
Marilyn I can't remember when I last had chocolate and biscuits are banned only tiny plain ones as emegency treats for the minded children.

Well have been out all day went to Lyndhurst in the New Forest. Had our packed lunch in the open air, but retreated to the car as it was perishing !!!
Back home I've mowed the friont lawn to pick up the cherry blossom and then pruned the camelia. Hubby planted the last tomatoes in the greenhouse and the courgettes too.

Well done to Rita as well, another good result for you. We'll all keep our fingers crossed that it stays that way.

Marilyn, we don't give each other anniversary cards or gifts either. Takes us all our time to remember when it is.

Linda, 'over a pound' doesn't seem too bad, at least it's not stones. I think it's because of your thyroid tablets being reduced as well.

Rita, glad the tests results were good, and hope the place where the blood was taken, is less sore soon. My jab for tetanus last week when I got bitten by the puppy, didn't hurt at all at the time but the next day or so my arm was so sore, and stiff. All ok now tho and the wound is almost completely healed, might be a tiny scar but it's on my top knuckle of my finger so won't show much, there are so many wrinkles on my hands from years of washing up and cleaning etc that another few won't make much odds!

Must get off this computer, and do something that shows I have been constructive lol

Little M is unwell today so won't be coming Ambulance job on Monday night apparently !!! High temperature, diagnsed as tonsillitis. On antibiotics and Calpol.
Lilltle K should be here after 9:00.
Hubby off today and tomorrow. Not sure what we will do. Just going to take down the downstairs nets. So will need to clean windows.

Dinner last night was good. I had scallop chowder(fish soup, but thickish with potaoes too) and a smoked haddock dish with spinach and cheese layered, served with new potatoes and salad. No pudding, no wine and a shandy for my drink(I was thirsty).

Its lovely and sunny here !!

Now the dinner went well last night, My Dad told me is going to Ireland in June gosh he never gives up !! I hope he got good insurance.
I do know you have to pay a whacking great premium at the age of 95yrs , so he must have the money to do it !!

Looking at my fire last night was looking at a November night, yet I wake up this morning and its like another season !

Linda, I'm relieved you are not Diabetic as its a nuisance once you get it,
but I did have Glucose problems before I was diagnosed Diabetic.
So just make sure you can keep that weight at a good level that way you will be safe. Linda we had after 8 with coffee last night and I hated seeing all the others EAT them without ME ...LOL so tempting .

Off to town sometime today........
