Afternoon Ladies
Hubby is home and we are having a cuppa will you join us?

No new appointment yet, guess I'll have to see when this man is back in work. I have a problem as the hospital is in Windsor and I don't drive and the shift working. Then there are the children 2 days a week , extra on Monday next week too.

Might even be after the wedding now. Less than 3 weeks now Rita !!

Tidied up some of the garden need to let the forgetmenots die back as they are filling a lot of the space. Then I need to tether the tortoise to stop him from eating all the new small plants(just joking)

It might be better if your appointments all come after the wedding, you can do without the extra hassle at the moment.

Our weather is a bit iffy at the moment, one minute it's sunshine and the next minute it's torrential rain.

Hubby didn't want to shop !! So when we run out of fruit etc for his lunches he'll realise why we needed to go.

Hi Linda,I am glad I am not alone.
I have just been taking a peep at the threads,and it's very slow on Gen and Chat.
Dont know whats happening to these boards.

Maybe they are all outside while they have a chance that the weaher is half decent?

I think a lot of us longer members have left or not renewed.

Well I don't need that, too many real issues at present. Most nice but still stressful.

Just eaten liver, bacon and mash. Really enjoyed it and it's not actually my favourite, though hubby enjoys it.

Mo I now which board you were speaking about people it appears got intouch with GR to get someone Ban but it didnt work did it.?
I think a lot of people now dont go on to the threads as there is so much back biting and if you say something someone does not like they get you ban. so people dont want to take that chance. there are loads of A_Z threads and games of all sorts but I dont bother with them some times I think people start them and forget.

Linda not long then are you getting excited about it all or worrid about it ?

Just had my tea Prawn Cocktail and strawsberries and ice cream and a cup of tea. now I am going to have a rest watch a bit of TV and then read.

Well up early again. Have 2 friends coming for tea this morning. So must have a quick tidy up and get a few toys out for a little boy who is coming too. He's the little one I cared for up to Christmas. He is at nursery 4 mornings now and Mum works there for two. So they only have Tuesdays free now.
Sun is shinning again. Hopefully it will last.
Looking better on the travel front too. Firstly I hope the ash blows away. And secondly that cabin crew will come to an agreement and not talk striking again.

It is nice to get up to sunsine and a blue sky.
I was pleased the courts came to the conculsion about the cabin Crew.
I am not being funny about it but I feel half these people now come on strike for the sake of having a few days off. there is a shortage of work and people clammering for jobs you would think they would sort some other way out to settle their disputes rather than strike at a drop of a hat.
They hurt ordinary people by doing things like this at the hight of the holiday season. I am not flying off anywhere this year but I feel sorry for people who plan an overseas holiday and then it is not possible to go because of strikes.

Afternoon
Just quickly before hubby gets back.
Got washing done and out this morning before the girls came for tea and a chat. Somehow it dried even though it has been sun then overcast, but must be warm enough. The tortoise is dashing around the garden. Sun is out right now. But still cool.
Enjoy the rest of today.
Hoping to get to the shops................... we need food !!! Shopping list written.

I did not realise they could get up a full head off steam.
I had my washing on the line at 7.00 this morning. I could not lie in,so I got up and got on with things.
All done and dusted now,till thursday.

Rita did you have hospital today,for your results. I keep losing track off who's got what ,where ,and when.
Why are you keeping your remarks short Rita. I love to read what you write
so please keep going as you would normally.
