Mo I have just threatened Marilyn about that guy in tesco's l am telling Pete. she only made out she was there looking for shelly now it has all come out she wanted a kiss.
I bet she gets loads of them already.
Mo I use to make my own wines I had a friend who had a green grocers stall at Perivale Station and saturday nights he use to bring me all his fruit and veg on his way home I had grapes pears apples bananas parsnips he gave them to me free all I had to do was give him a bottle or two when they were made. my children use to go mad they said my gallery kitchen smelt like a brewery, l had people give me their empty wine bottles which I use to sterlize. so Im the one for the wines.

Pauline I have two books on the go at the moment one is called "Walking Haunted London " by Richard Jones mostly about pubs that are haunted The other is " London Beneath the Pavement." by Michael Harrison. both are full of fact and so interesting that was why I added them to the Chat thread .on London l add every now and again. I have had quiet a few PM from people thanking me for the information.

I have been watching "Top of the Pops " 60's and fell about laughing at the people danceing why did they always look at their feet when they danced, they were only twisting and hobbling around.

Rita dancing in the 60's,was very much like that. I used to like to do the twist,but the dance off the mods was a favourite as well.
Oh my lord what idiots we must have looked,but we felt like the cats whiskers.

It looks like the wine making is down to you then Rita. Don't tell Marilyn that you brew your own though will you,or she will be drinking it as fast as you can make it. (she's not an alchy really.she just likes the falling down juice.)

Mo I did use to think I was the bees knee when I went dancing but I am sure i never danced and watched my feet all the time like they did on top of the pops I saw this afternoon they were nearly bent double.. I saw more knickers than feet they were bent t that far over. Lol.

I remember when this country were winners,and also Ireland. But I believe the voting is very politcal these days. It's a shame because we have had some goods songs over the years.
I never did like the song ,I believe it was called "flying the flag,all over the world"
29 years ago since Bucks Fizz won. My word how time has flown.
