Shelly gives me a hard time......it took me about 3/4 hour to print documents that she kindly sent me.
I'm stuck up another tree now ..... my carpenters ...He He.

Anyway Shelly has given me a break, so i'm going out now/

Everything went OK today, the uncle I lost was a very funny man, he always had everyone in fits of laughter. He was everyone's favourite, he'll be a big miss.

I'm going in the bath now, then got to make dinner.

Anyone watching the Pharmacy programme on BBC2 ? It's very interesting.

Signed off by the hospital specialist. My breathing is fine. Evrything is back to "normal"
I just have to try some reflux tablets for the niggly cough I still have especially at night.. So of to the Dr again next week after he has the letter to get a supply of them.

Hope to watch WDYTYA so long as hubby doesn't find something he wants to watch.

Thats good news Linda. I thought reflux tablets were for acid indigestion,shows how much I know doesn't it. But I hope that they work for you.
I have what they call ( I think it's what they call it anyway ) post nasal drip,where the nose runs down the throat at night,and makes me cough during the night. I am not even aware that I am coughing during my sleep.
But it's been happening since I was a child.

Pauline, another sad day over for you now. Your uncle will be missed by you all. But what happy memories he left for you all to cherish.

I bet Marilyn is well into her programme now. I do hope that it brings something to light for her.

Right how the Dr explained it is:
◦A persistent cough, particularly at night sometimes occurs. This is due to the refluxed acid irritating the trachea (windpipe). Asthma symptoms of cough and wheeze can sometimes be due to acid reflux.

So maybe this is my problem. I know need to get a prescription from my own Dr and take them for a month............. then stop and if the cough gets worse or comes back then I will need to take them continuously. LOL who would have thought indegestion made you cough !!

Not sure if Marilyn has found out anything about the Johnson Forsyth connection. My hubby slept through it all.

Off to finish the button band on this cardigan now.

Yep, we have lots of happy memories of my uncle, and he got to 86 - so it was a pretty good innings............can't complain.

You're right about the inside info Shelly, the note had to come from someone who knew about the programme long before the general public knew.

You are up far too early !!! But thanks for the tea, I needed that.

Dry but overcast this morning, wonder what gardening I can achieve today. I pruned one shrub yesterday, which led on to some bamboo we are trying to get rid of. Yoo invasive.

Hope to get to the garden centre this afternoon when hubby gets back. I need compost to grow wallflowers pansies and sweeetwilliams for the spring. We also need some tomorite for the tomatoes as we have run out.

Morning Jean & Linda.....others when they wake !

Going back to Brucie yes it was about 5 weeks before that program as I only see my dad once a week and he told me at the time he had had it a few days prior to my visit

But what they didn't talk about was his nearest family, his siblings and I think that's what I wanted to hear all about them and more about his mother & father John. just to get a connection. also the person must have bought Brucie birth cert as it had the actual date on it as well as the year., and Elizabeth's.

Mind you they could have found it somewhere in a mag or something!!

Anyway no big party for you all I was going to ask Brucie to cough up some dosh for us all ..LOL

Pete's out cleaning the car ... still .thinks he'd better sell it to get the Roll Royce ...!!!!......from the estate there wont be one now ..LOL
