Hello Yvvone. I have three lovely pink tinted with yellow roses out in my garden and there are around five more buds there as well. also have some yellow daises and white ones in bloom. I wonder how Marilyn got on to day and Jean I hope you have had some good results Jean. Stephen I hope your good wife is feeling a lot better today. there seems to be a lot of people with a flu virus a round here. I spoke to someone in the charity shop this morning when I went shopping, and she said they had three of their staff off with it. It has started to get cold now. I am going to put the heating on and wash my hair. I want it to look nice for the hospital tomorrow. otherwise I will look my age.
I wonder where Mo is and Pauline and Liz we have not had her on here for a while now.
well hope to be back leter.

Mrs Stephen is feeling a lot better today. Thank goodness. She has the house to clean, washing to do, a pile of ironing that must get done very soon, windows to wash, grass to cut, garden to tidy, cars to wash, dinner to make etc, etc.
Once she does that she can take it easy !!!!!!!!
If she reads this I will need to make a mad dash out the door .......LOL
We share the chores about the house. I help make it untidy, so why shouldn't I help tidy and clean it. I do the washing....my wife irons. She usually makes the food.....I wash the dishes. and so it goes on....share a bit each. I do the 'heavy' gardening work, my wife adds the finishing touches.
Back later.

Hello everyone. I have been for my MRI scan today. Fortunately the scan did not include my head being inside the scanner. It was bitterly cold when we left here at 7.30 a.m, and my feet were sticking out of the end of the scanner, with a cool breeze blowing through the scanner. My poor tootsies were freezing cold, and one foot kept going into a spasm. But it's all done now. I have to wait for the results to be sent to the physio therapist now, to see what they intend to do about my knee. They think part of the cartilege may have broken away, causing the Bakers Cyst. Oh well I will wait and see.
I do hope that Mrs Stephen is feeling better now. Do not overwork the poor woman Stephen, she's been a poorly wee lassie.
I have had my second eldest grandaughter here all day. She works in a childrens nursery, and gets all the holidays that schools get, probably the same as Shelly. She's a proper chatter box, but lovely with it. We have got to drop her home in a little while, before I go of to darts.
I hope you have all had a good day.

Stephen that is how marriages should be share and share a like my husband and I did that.
Marilyn I am pleased your hospital appointment went OK.
Mo I hope your MRI scan goes well for youI hate those. I find the waiting for results makes me stresesed out. I am not looking forward to tomorrow either at the eye Hospital .I have a new consultant. and have never met him or her. so it is a bit scary.
I had the other one since 2007..
I have washed my hair but I forgot to turn the heating on and have just started to feel the cold. so my windows are now closed. to shut out Jack Frost..
Did you see the X Factor over the weekend. it appears that Cheryl Cole mimed most of her song. no it is not a rumour it is a fact one of the proudcer reamrked on it tonight.

Dame Shelly,
Have you not hired any servants yet. With your new status you should not be needing to lift a finger......well perhaps to 'snap' them to get some action.
Mo....Hope you get good results soon. Our knees are so crucial to enjoying mobilty. Try this psychological experiment next time you are out walking..........it really works . When you walk imagine that you are walking on eggs and try not to break them. Just walk normally...but imagine the eggs. Get it right and you feel as if you are almost floating.
It may take a bit of practice to get it right but HONESTLY is really does work.
I've been nearly on my knees carrying a heavy pack and used this method to go the extra miles. My wife swears by it when we are out for long walks and she feels tired.
Marilyn.......whether it's WhiskEy or plain old Whisky you will still get drunk......take care.
Rita.....not enough sharing in this world...wish more would do it.

LoL Stephen ....... the whisky !!
It pleasurably is the only drink that does make me merry .....
Now as for the chores we share almost the same as you & your dear wife, the only difference is I have a whip !! LOL but Pete does clean my cooker and all the floors , he also cleans bathroom & kitchen , I make the bed and do all the washing & ironing , well not his .......he does his own LOL
I think that's fair don't you ? also I cut his hair he's never been the the barbers all our married life ....trim his eyebrows , well gotta make him look young & respectable .
Mo ....I hate those MRI scans the feeling of being squashed in side a tube just freaks me out, your very brave. hope the results are not too concerning.
Shelly ,I have introduced your thread to a Derek two days ago on TTF so I hope he found who he was looking for.

Morning all Early start again today and tomorrow. Off to see the nurse at the Dr this morning, just a weigh in!!! What she will say after a week away I do not know. Mum and Dad aren't too good at the moment so might try to get over and see them. Mum is apparently becoming verbally aggressive.................... she doesn't want a party for her Diamond Wedding Anniversary and Dad is being checked for kidney failure on top of all the heart issues he had last year. Oh well I'mm too far away to help much and after the way we were treated last year maybe that is not a bad thing.
Catch up later, have a good day everyone

Morning All !
(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?
Tea and Coffee.......Fruit juice....Nothing else this morning. Still to do the shopping !!!!!!
Dark and miserable outside. Rain pouring down. Give me a bright frosty morning anyday compared with this.
I normally stay at home on a Tuesday. If the staff need me urgently they phone me......not very often though.
It's my sons 30th soon. He wont be at home. My wife feels a bit down about it. I am trying to arrange a Skype link with him so that at least we can chat and see him at the same time. Thank goodness for modern communications. Magic. His big sister is missing him too. They have always been very close. And his little nieces want him back for Christmas. 'Will Santa bring Uncle Calum home if we ask him?' . Wee souls. We wanted a big family but sadly lost four. So the two we have we treasure.
Usually try and get at least a couple of positive things done on my time around the house......'She who must be obeyed' will probably have a couple of hundred she wants doing.!!!!!!!!
Have a good day ya all !
PS......Jean I hope you have sobered up after all that booze you were celebrating with.
