Home rather late from work. Had the sad task of having to dismiss someone this afternoon. Dosen't happen very often but it's never easy.

I would love to go Panning for Scottish Gold in the River Helmsdale in Sutherland and have a ring made for my wife.
Then a string of fresh water pearls from the River Tay .

But.......

She will just need to put up with the ring she has even if it does turn her finger green. Her 'pearls' are made from some old ball bearings I had in the garage.

Can't have folk thinking the Scots are an extravagant race, can I.

As you get older you feel like taking your time at doing things. I have little lists on the kitchen unite. on my desk and pinned to a board on the kitchen door. and I sometimes I forget they are there , that is how I feel now.my daughter laughs as I have a desk diary this years and next. a handbag diary this years and next and a wall diary this years and nexts and I keep putting down appointments. I have akready written three down in next years diary.

All these friends who like white gold and white diamonds. I am odd one out I dont like them.

I like Palatium my engagement ring is that with three diamonds.. my other rings are 18 crt gold and 9 crt gold

I suppose I am old fashion as so many people like white gold these days.

I'm just plain greedy , I have 3 wedding rings...ONE MAN !!

Its not that I'm not grateful for what I have , but it's just that I get bored with the same rings .!!!!!

My love in shoes & bras and rings are my downfall in greed.....
But what the hell I'm spending my kids inheritance on ME & Hubby as they will have my house.........now that cant be bad can it ?

I do know that when our time comes my Sons & their OH's will feel no remorse in spending what we have left them ... Cars & Jewelry will be on their wish list.
They will be the first in the queue in the Car showroom & Jewelry shops ..
Thats guaranteed.............
