Yvonne, are you going to be doing anything special on your birthday?

Maddie, I wondered where you were.

Mo, you should give them loads of E numbers just before they go home.

Rita, I have to write lists and you've got 20 years on me, so you aren't doing too bad.

*Pauline**§(`•_•`)§ - powerful stuff. You don't work for MI5 by any chance?
(Any idea where Red Rum is?)

I was told that Irish Whiskey is a good cure for snake bites. I never go anywhere without a bottle in one pocket & a snake in the other.

Yes Dermot, he was buried at the winning post of the Aintree Racecourse.

I think you've been drinking too much of that whisky.

I don't know where Shergar is though.

Rita, could we go on a cruise that leaves from Southampton, or somewhere like that. I don't like flying so unless we go by boat, or train I will be left behind, boo hoo.
Good luck to everyone who has done the lotto tonight, lets hope we have a winner between us all.

Thank you ! One and all for the kind wishes for my son.
I'm rather chocked by the kind thoughts.

As he left to go away I cuddled him close. Then stood back and saluted as one should do to an officer. I didn't have a cap on and it's not normal to salute without one. But what the hell....he's my son....and I'm proud of him.

Next Sunday, Remembrance Day, I will have my Beret on and my Medals on my chest. My thoughts will be for my friends now gone and all others still serving. But most of all I will be thinking of my son.

Thanks for your kindness ladies. Calum will appreciate it when I manage to let him know.

Oi Shelly are yer blind girl, I'm ere behind ya mate.
What clue should we give Dermot then. I do know that there is a rubbishy programme on the box about where we come from. But I have to admit, we are nothing like that lot, and we certainly don't dance round our handbags, or wear white stilletto's (sp) LOL

My apologies Stephen, I should have wished Calum a happy birthday sooner. But I blame it all on having my grandchildren here, they have driven me nuts," whole hazel nuts ".
As children my brother and I, always attended the Memorial service at the local army barracks,as my father was in the R.E.'s. When the last post is sounded, it sends shivers down my spine, and a tear to my eyes.

I hope Linda is enjoying her parents celebrations as well. How wonderful to have been married all those years.

Mo I have been boating most ofl my life well . have had three cabin cruisers. and two canoes. plus a rubber boat ex Navy which we brought just after the war. with a wooden flooring. we use to trail it along the back of our two cabin cruiser. spent many happy hours at Henley at the Regata and Eton.Boating watching the Posh ones in their straw hats and the striped jackets at Eton they wore those black suits which you all know about. we use to join in when they sang the Eton Boating Song...

But I think it would be better if we went by Eurostar that way we can all be together,.I like traveliing on that. nice and smooth.,
