Dame Shelly,

Try and get the Energy Advisor to visit you fairly soon. It could save you a lot of money.

Cutting down the draughts will also help.

Are your radiators on outside walls and are they under the windows ?

Wish I lived closer Shelly I could nip round and have a quick check on things.

Let me know how you get on.

Hi Patricia
Welcome
Hi Shelly
Are you still very cold? Wish I could help you out.

Well sad news today............... My Uncle living in Toronto for decades has passed away he was 82, I last saw him 5 years ago when I went out to a family wedding. His wife my mothers sister died 10 years ago. He remarried, but the family were a bit upset, not very accepted. Rotten year for the family. The youngest son had jaw cancer(hopefully sorted with major surgery) the middle son died just after my daughters wedding and now the Dad is gone.
Funeral is on Thursday, so quick. No chance to go over.

Lillte is smothered in the chickenpox. She is grumpy and sleeps poorly. Dad took her to the Dr this afternoon but she was brought back to me til 6:00 I couldn't believe it I thought she would stay home????? But no and she'll be back tomorrow I am sure. The parents weren't even with her yesterday on her birthday.

Hope you all sleep well and stay warm.
Hubby not home til 11:30 or later

Linda :o) XxX

Just been watching/listening to a school pal on webcam hosting a radio programme in Ireland.

Like myself, he hasn't aged a bit since we both finished school in the late 60s. I must remind him to apply for his Senior Citizen bus pass.

Hi Patricia, I'm Mo another nutter on here, welcome to our little mad house.
It's our husband by proxy thats made us all like this, his names Stephen,
he's as mad a bag of spanners, but is a real gent.

Further update on my son, they are still not home. J abandoned his car on a hill,as it would not go up or down.
At the moment they are trying to find a clear road home between Orpington
and Sevenoaks, and no matter which way they go, the roads are impassable.
I don't even know if they have got emergency supplies in the car.
Why is it we never stop worrying about our kids, no matter what age they are.

Morning all.

Marilyn, when you get back you can sort your name out, the heat over there must be affecting it.

Hello Pat, welcome to the thread, I'm Pauline.........one of Stephen's many wives by the looks of it.

Dermot, did you get your bus pass? I didn't!!

Mo, did your son get home OK? You must have been worried sick about him. How will he get his car back?

Linda, it's awful to lose family members, so sad that they're so far away as well.

I feel sorry for little M, she should have been with her parents on her birthday and now when she's poorly. Shelly's right though, I'm glad she's got you to give her the love she needs. Give her an extra cuddle from me.
