Morning All,
Not so much snow last night but the temperature went way down measured it at -12C.
Snow was easy to clear as it was still powdery. It's snowing this morning, but only slightly.
Hope the drivers I met yesterday have stayed at home today.
Maddie, You've put Neil in a cupboard !!!!!! How terrible. A nice cosy bed would have been much better......even a camp bed would have done.
Well folks.......'I'm off to see the Wild West Snow' Hey Ho !
Have a good day ya all.

Morning All.
It is a WINTER WONDERLAND here. We have about 3 inches of snow. Not as much as Stephen and Pauline. But quite a bit for the middle of a city.
Stephen do not fret. When I say cupboard it is a very big cupboard, enough for a li-lo and a 10.5 tog duvet. I have just taken Neil and cup of tea and he is fine. I shall probably take him for a stroll on the Heath later, to show him off, and he can describe all the flora and fauna to me.
Marilyn, Neil is the lovely man on Coast and Two Men In A Trench. He is Scottish, with long black hair. I have had him reciting the Phone Book just to hear his voice. He is a bit of all right. And yes, our is a big Victorian house. Lovely, but with high ceilings, and draughty doors. All the heating goes straight up to the ceiling rose. So if we had chairs up there, it would be great.
Hope everyone is warm and well.
Just off to make Neil his porridge.
See you all MUCH later.

Hi everyone.
Lots of snow and icicles here.
Our snow is different to the kind we usually get, it's dry and powdery..........can't make a snowman with it because it won't stick together. Much easier to shovel away than the usual stuff though. Not that it makes any difference shoveling it away because it just comes back again.
Hope you manage to get to the hospital OK Shelly, is Olly OK?
Maddie, I love Neil's voice as well, lovely soft accent.
I thought Mommy Christmas wore red boots.
Edit: Thanks for the breakfast Stephen.
Dermot........noted!

Morning all and Patricia will have to remember to name you as some members might not know we have a new friend on here. Maddie I keep looking at Niels "Coast " I dont know how many times i have seen ithem but each time I find something of interest I have missed before.
I can tell you all now surprise surprise I have thick deep snow you cannot see the cars and it is about up to the calves of my legs now. the cars look like small hills. to think people were clearing the snow off yesterday and it was only laying about inch on it now as I have said thick.snow covers them.
I wont be walking about ouside even with my little sos on a chain . My Estate Manager just called to ask was I alright. ?I dont know what she would have said if I had said no. .but I smiled and said fine thank you.she got locked out of the flats yesterday and I had to open the doors to let her in out of the wind and snow. A friend getting her hair done yesterday phoned to see if I needed any shopping as she was going near the shops so girls I have washing up liquid and toilet rolls hows that for forward thinking Lol
Pauline they just said Washington Station is closed I didnt hear whether it was the train or the bus satation so it appears you have more snow. sorry to hear that Brent must be upset.
I am going to have a cuppa now, I have had a bit of everything from Stephens list.

Been shopping and am home for a couple of hours. Snow on the side roads [mine] but the Town is clear. I reckon they used half the salt supply outside the Tube. Makes you smile. Our corner outside our house is a skating rink. I tottered off down the road with the dog, and took a scoop or two of salt from the bin. So will wisk that around so it is a bit safer.
Dog went mad in the snow. She jumps around like a puppy. Tossing it up in the air and eating the stuff. She is nearly 8 years old now, but get her out in the white stuff, and she goes barmy.
Start work at 3pm today. I think the weather will keep some people away. We have poinsettas in already. Red, white and pink. We only buy British, so they should last a bit longer.
Remember ladies and gents. If you buy one from a warm shop, cover it completely with plastic bags. The cold weather will send them into shock otherwise, and the leaves will just drop off. There is no true flower with them, just different coloured leaves. Clever eh, these Mexicans.
Gonna make a proper effort on Saturday to go out and buy something for Christmas. Working Sunday.
Hope everyone is warm and well. See you all later.

Pauline I heard it on the Tv this morning they give you little snipets and that was one of them, did they get it wrong ?sometimes poeple phone in and relay this type of thing. I have not heard i since but I didnt see the midday news.
Marilyn I replied to your email but I dont know what has happened as some times I am unable to open them this tme . I opened them and read the two I replied to the last one and it didnt go. I know as I check the in and sent messages after I have sent them off.
Linda that death certificate I had for James McCallum before I did anything I emailed one of my cousins in the McCallum family in Scotland.and it is one he knows so I am sending it off to him in Edinburgh. I am pleased it is going to someone who I know. I told him I will post ot as soon as I can get out to post it. so I am pleased about that.
Sue I dont blame you for working from home in this weather..it must be a nightmare on the roads. .you should make a little sofa for the cat to lay on and look out the cat flap make he or she more comfortable.
My Great Granddaughter is out of hospital, they didnt do the endoscopy after all they said they would give it a few more weeks and then do it.as she has been trhough so much.
My daughter sa w the doctor he is not sure if it is gout but she has medication to try ad see if it helps.

Hi All.
Rita ....I hope you got the last PM message from me (False Alert) one ......It was after I studied Absalom ....things started to change . The one from b Wokingham was the same Absalom as the West ham one and Dartford one , he seemed to have sated many different birth ages as he went along ......throwing me in a turmoil !! LOL
So Your Absalom is still on the missing list ......I think maybe done a runner overseas .
Sorry about that Rita....I thought I really did find him after the connection with the Deighton Family ,which I find extraordinary weird .
I have just been out to buy my self some warm boots for my travels home , I don't need them really as I have two nice pairs back home , but I cant be cold when I arrive at Heathrow , I have been watching the news on USA telly as they did show clips from Scotland and a few other places........so I'm aware of the cold too .
Back later neighbour just called ......
