Morning everyone,
Back from mass. It was warmer outside than it was in the church. I supposed I've missed breakfast. Never mind. I've got a cup of coffee!

Rita Report 5 Dec 2010 15:08

shelly that is what you get for playing in the snow. you didnt pinch that womens snowman did you ? lol.
Pat my sister went to mass this morning she made me laugh they always have a christmas sale on to raise funds for the church. but people didnt attend so this year they had a stall at the back of the church selling Jams and pickles they sold out. . I said maybe someone gave them a little prod telling them to buy.

I have been working on my Autobiography it is 8 months since I did any and I felt guilty about that so I did another three pages this morning. trouble is I have little giggles at times other times I sit an think about the good things that happened. I have made my mind up to type two or three pages out each day. I wrote things down in exercise books but forgot to number the pages so it take time for me to catch up and get them in the right order.

I see Dermot is off on one of his orange box speeches,

Hi all.

It took me ages to read all the posts since I was on yesterday. What do you do ..............wait till I've gone and then all come out to play?

Lovely breakfast Stephen, but by the time I got here it was cold.

*passes a box of tissues to Shelly* Can't have you sneezing all over your lappy Shelly.

Thank you for the e-card Marilyn, it's lovely, makes me feel like putting my tree up. Can't though, because it's still in the loft.

Going to have a quick look at the rest of my emails now, be back later.

I hope you are feeling a bit better now.

Rita, is it eight months since you did any of your autobiography, my word how time flies. I'm sure you will soon get stuck in again.

*passes another box of tissues over to Mo*

Mo, that's because Shelly was sneezing all over the thread. I'm glad I wasn't here when her snotty nose was dripping all over the cyber hatch.

It's getting dark already and it's only just gone 3.35.

Rita, I'm impressed by your Autobiography.
I was paying my full attention to Anne of The Thousand Days but it's som warm and cosy in my Dormouse nest that I dozed off!

Mo in Kent Report 5 Dec 2010 16:32

Pat, I hope you don't mind my asking, are you Dormouse, only the refences to Dormouse keep cropping up.
Our Rita is a clever ol stick, she has written her fathers memoirs as well, and got them published. Mo

Mommy, what It is I don't like going out in the cold! i'd love to hibernate but I think my office would take a very dim view of that.
If there's anyone called Dormouse on here. It's isn't me.
So Rita has written a book. Very impressed.

Mo in Kent Report 5 Dec 2010 16:42

Hi again Pat. There used to be someone called Dormouse that posted, but I have not seen them posting for a while. No offence was meant in my asking.
I think we would all like to be able to hibernate, till the warmer weather.
Now our Marilyn, she's one lucky lady, she chases the sun around the world.
We are all hoping that Rita will let us read her memoirs, and those of her father one of these days. She's has some great experiences, and some very sad ones as well.

Mommy, I have an old school friend who lives in Tenerife but she is over here looking after her Mum who has had a hip operation. She is loving the snow! She normally moans about the heat!
Don't worry I didn't take any offence.
Did you read about the eight day lock-in at a pub in Yorkshire. What sort of hibernation is that?

Sounds to me that they will all be pickled by the time they come out.

Rita

Rita Report 5 Dec 2010 18:53

MO you are a scream I wish I had thought that one out they will be pickled by the time they come out.
Dormouse you were speaking about, she went into hospital about the same time as I was rushed in with a masive blood clot and they then told me I had cancer. she went in with a blood clot and they put her on Warfin like myself. she was on the board twice I think then said she didnt feel up to it that was the last time. we saw her on this thread.? that must have been two years ago,.last November. might be longer ? I wondered if she had changed her name.but I did see her name come up on another thread.
Pat our Marilyn travels the world she follows the sun if there is no sun she does not go there. .I think the only holiday she has not had is a treck through the dessert on a camel. lol or a visit to the Rain Forrest but she will only get shade there no sun. arrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Strickley on soon Mo please let that Ann go off tonight. I am fed up seeing her backside.61 and she is still showing her drawers off. Lol

LOL Rita, we are both over 61,and would never dream of showing ourselves up like that Widdy woman does.
Besides, who told you I wear knickers lol It does get a bit drafty at times, thats why I have the bridget jones type of undies, they keep the cold out.
