Morning all
How lovely Cassie sleeping through the night and almost clean and dry as well. Sounds like the training's coming on well. How cute sitting to have her lead on. Hope you can get something to ease her teeth. Yes I do feel sorry for all those people.
I've fed Rosie again today. I'm watching the Marathon so didn't see her turn up at the back door so, for the first time, she jumped up onto the living room window sill to get my attention, it gave me quite a shock, but it worked I went and fed her.......twice, the greedy thing :-D :-D :-D.
Michelle should be on the coach now, it left at 11am and takes around 3 hours to reach Liverpool where she will get a bus to the end of our road, so she will be here around 3 to 4pm. Sandra is so excited to see her. At least the weather is good today nice sunshine and not to cold.

Afternoon all,
No rain here. Just those few spots yesterday. I walk to and from the pub after the match.
Handbags at THREE PACES then ANN. I hope the planning people put that builder in his place, I can see there will be trouble and I am sure the law will see the neighbours are right. Good advise from LIZ, Stay away. I know I would have to poke my nose in, if only to annoy the builder. :-D :-D :-D
We had a lay in this morning. I woke at 7.00 ish had a wee, and got back in to bed. I dozed off again and we got up at 9.30 am. We sat and watched the Marathon, then I had a shower and shave.
I have prepared dinner for tonight, just the Yorkshire to make.
Ros came back with MORE PLANTS yesterday, which she is putting in as we speak.
Not long now before your daughter arrives Gill. I didn't realise it was six months ago that you joined us. Doesn't time fly ???
Jane I wouldn't be inclined to throw away any photo's. I am without any of my two children, even though I took hundreds of them when they were young :-( :-( Many were the type you had to look at through a viewer, onto a wall or a sheet. I didn't have a screen. !!!.
What a good little doggie you have Liz, !!! It pays to start them off young. I remember one of my labs, was a little B. It knew where the dried biscuits were kept, and one morning I came down and the cabinet door was open and biscuit was everywhere. I had to find a new place for it out of his reach. :-D :-D
Well it doesn't look like rain here today, at the moment the sun is shining and it's quite warm.
Bye for now.

Michelle's just text to say she's in Liverpool she's just going to find the bus stop she needs to get the bus here then she'll text me again and I'll phone her while she waits for the bus.
Yes Frank 6 months it has gone quickly hasn't it.
The sun is still shinning here with beautiful blues skies. Glad its not raining and I'm hoping it stays nice for Sandra's birthday on Tuesday.
Michelle has lots of plans for the coming week so I doubt I'll be online much, but will pop in when I can. I'm hoping she can take some photo's while she's here so Sandra has something to remember her birthday by. If they can be emailed to me I'll pass them on to you all.
Going to get something to eat now before Michelle's text comes through Be back later

Had the most delicious roast pork for lunch! We got it from our free range butcher near by and although it was expensive, it was well worth the extra cost! So different from supermarket pork, which is usually tasteless and full of water, also I disapprove of how pork (and all meat come to that!)is reared for the supermarkets despite what they and the label says, so I haven't bought it for ages, but the free range was certainly very good. Not a bad day here although the wind is cold. We're all having a snooze after a busy morning!

Wind is cokd here too Liz. On a better note the sun has just come out and we have blue sky with big white clouds.
I must fill up my bird feeders in a min. We have had our BIG breakfast and I am so full I just have to sit for a little while.
Your pork sounds lovely Liz. I remember having free range pork from one of our customers when I lived in Suffolk and had the pet shop. They were only down the road to the shop and I had to pass their house on the way home and whenever they had a pig killed they would let us know and we bought some of it.
Michelle should now be at Gill's and I bet Sandra is so pleased to see her sister again and they're all having a good old chinwag.
2 DAYS AND COUNTING......... <3

Your big breakfast sounds a good idea Mel and I expect, lasts you round to the evening! We always have boiled eggs with rolls or croissants and our usual fresh coffee for Sunday breakfast; the other days we just have toast and marmalade + coffee. On Sunday we try to have lunch at lunch time! the other days it varies!! not sure why!! We got friends calling by at about 6pm this evening, I think they want to see Cassie!!!

Afternoon Everyone Well I haven't felt that warm today and even have a jumper on.We had some rain in the night but nothing at all today. I have had an afternoon of sorting all my shoes and boots and putting them in boxes to go in the bottom of one of my wardrobes.I decided to get rid of the Shoe rack as all my shoes kept falling off.I do have a small one being my bedroom door with the shoes on that I wear at the moment.BUT you never guess what I found ............my prescription sunglasses that I couldn't find !!!!!! Typical isn't it.I have now ordered new ones so that was £120 that I needed have spent :-S :-S. I don't think Chris is too impressed lol So I will keep one pair in the car and one in a handbag.
Liz I think when it comes to meat it is often best to buy from a Butchers or Butcher department rather than the pre packed. But it can sometimes be that much more expensive.Your Pork sounded delish :-D The Plumber told me yesterday that there is to be a Butchers/Deli/Coffee Shop opening in Woodford soon. Not too far from here ,so i will be having a look there.I think it is at a farm where Hannah and James used to go riding when they were little.
Frank your neighbour sounds a right slob.Fancy littering his own patio with his old fag ends :-S..Can he not use an ash tray!!!!,and his wife sounds like she has Doormat written on her forehead..Sorry if that sounds rude but from the things you have said about him that is how it seems to me.
The photos that I am trying to get rid of are the ones of people who no-one recognises duplicates and bad photos.I have so many that belonged to my Mum with people who were probably her friends but who they are I will never know.Hannah and James will have to go through the same process when Chris and I are no longer here.It is just so sad we only have maybe half a dozen of Chris when he was a boy.None as a baby or toddler. It must be awful Frank not to have ones of your Children :-( These days though we don't have actual photographs as most of us use Digital Cameras, phones etc so everything is kept on discs, computers and so on. Fitz refuses to use anything other than his 'proper ' camera.I need to filter out many I have on the pooter .I think there are over 9,000 now :-0 :-0
So Michelle will have arrived and Sandra will be so excited to see her :-D..Gill it would be lovely to see a pic of you and Sandra especially on her Birthday :-D :-D
Frank it is always sad to see a dead bird especially at this time of year .I haven't dared ask Fitz how many birds Podge is getting at the moment :-S :-S.I dread to think. He is one of the most ferocious hunter cat I have ever known.(don't think ferocious is the correct word) vociferous ?Hopefully one of you will come up with the word I am looking for :-)
Ann I hope things don't become too heated tomorrow..Can't wait to hear about it though :-D :-D :-D
I have just filled in all my postal ballot papers .Made a right pigs ear of one of the envelopes and had to use a bit of sellotape.I used a letter opener ,but went through the top of one of the other envelopes inside :-S..So that is my job done for the country :-D
Where has our Maureen got to?.Also Ruby? Email come through from Mel :-D

Mel ,how lovely to have the little eggs in the nest :-D :-D.I could see 3 .Are there more?
Liz we will be having Croissants the week after this in Paris :-D :-D.I can't believe we will soon be off :-D
James has arrived home.First words What time is dinner !!!!..I think he is starving lol.So he will be having his meal first, and then he says he has to do some work ready for tomorrow. He seems to be getting a load of extra work now since someone left a week ago..He is hoping for a pay rise in July :-D..I think he is due one.
I had a very strange dream last night..I became best buddy with Ed Miliband LOL We were at some conference and he had to go off and find his son who had gone to the loo(does he have a son?,I don't know)...I had to look after all his papers before he did a speech and i dropped them :-S..Where did that all come from?? ...In real life I am not too struck on him ,but in my dream he was a really nice person :-D Maybe tonight it will be David Cameron's turn :-D

Heavens Jane, a psychiatrist would have a field day with you!!! Yes Ed Milliband has two small boys aged 5 & 6! I think voracious' was the word you were looking for with regard to the cat!!! We had a tabby (neutered) tom cat years ago when I was a child, and he was known as ' The bird killer', a name he certainly lived up to!! Cassie is being admired by one and all! OH has taken her into the field, and is demonstrating how brilliant she is!!

Hi everyone
Michelle's here and we've had a good chat up. I recorded Britain's Got Talent so she's watching that now.
So you're dreaming of Ed Miliband then Jane and possibly David Cameron tonight. Maybe you're not sure who your voting for. You said you'd find your sunglasses once you ordered your knew one's. Isn't it always the way. At least you'll have a spare now for the car.
So who won the match then Frank Chelsea or Arsenal. My OH supports Arsenal. How sad to find a dead bird, that's the problem with cats, we have the same problem here with the neighbours cats they are always trying to get the birds.
One of the cats can climb trees and try's to get the birds that way. It's quite funny to watch as the birds cat see it coming and just fly to another branch while still watching the cat. It never catches the birds, but quiet entertaining to watch.
Thanks for the pic of your hair Mel, it's really long, mine is about half that length. Michelle is going to take a photo later and email it to me so I can send it to you and the other's if it works. I only saw three eggs in the nest to, didn't you say there were five, or have I got that wrong :-S :-S.
Your Pork sounds lovely Liz, I prefer meat from a butchers but it's quite a bit more expensive than a supermarket so I don't bother most of the time. When I can afford it, it's a nice treat.
I'm the same as Jane, Ann, wanting to know how things go tomorrow, don't forget to keep a safe distance away from any trouble though ;-) ;-).
Michelle, Sandra and I have chatted for so long we all lost track of time so I'm going now to start dinner. We all wondered why we were feeling hungry, now we know why :-D :-D :-D :-D It's late lol.

Have done my vote now Gill it was one or the other of the 2 LOL
Dinner done and all cleared away.Country File watched ,now Antiques Roadshow .I haven't watched Poldark and there seems nothing else on worth watching. So I will have to start a new book :-D :-D..I have about 8 proper books and 10 books on the Kindle to read !!!..Now the trouble is what do I choose :-S Decisions Decisions.

Here I am with a cup of tea wide awake with the sun shining and the birds singing :-D What I really would like is is to be asleep !!! Honestly this dreaming business is ridiculous.I almost wondered if I has been eating magic mushrooms or something lol I can't even start to explain last nights ones as they were so crazy I wouldn't know where to begin :-D
Ann it sounds like your neighbours are prepared to do real battle :-S How old are they? I expect they are up now getting themselves all fired up and ready for action..I will be waiting for your report :-D :-D :-D Lovely pics from your visit to the garden. What a nice place.
I am now going to settle back with my tea and a book and then hopefully doze off again.

Morning all
Lovely and sunny here today, OH nipped out to put some petrol in the car and he said it was nice and warm which will be lovely when we all go out later.
Michelle is still asleep, the rest of us are up and OH is having a bath before Michelle needs the bathroom.
We were all chatting and having a laugh till 2am this morning, I can't believe how quickly the time is passing. We ended up having fish and chips last night as it was quick and easy, I had some fish in the freezer and used freezer chips so we manage to eat before 9pm lol. We're having roast chicken today as OH was working yesterday so it'll be nice to have all four of us together.
Sandra is going to my mum's with her dad today as my mum wants to give her a present and card. We are out all day tomorrow so mum wouldn't of got a chance to see her and she wants to see her open her present.
Michelle is going to help me update our set top boxes while the other two are out, I don't know how to do them and there are new channels now that need to be downloaded. Michelle is going to show me what to do so I know for next time incase she's not here. Sandra will be pleased because she hasn't got E4 on her system so I've been having to record her programs for her and she'd rather record them herself and watch them in the other room where they're no interruptions
I wonder how things will go at Ann's today, Hope everything goes well and there isn't any trouble. I will be thinking of your Ann. Keep safe and let them get on with it, you don't want to end up in the middle of anything.
It sounds like the builder might get their own way if the private road belongs to them, but what about the gardens they want to take, surely they don't belong to them and they have no right to just take them. Maybe your neighbours could look at their deeds wouldn't it have the boundaries marked on them and if the gardens belong to your neighbours then the builders can't touch them. I'll be interested in hearing how things went later.
I loved the pictures you sent Ann of the gardens, what a lovely place but like you said not very child friendly.
I have a book on dreams Jane somewhere, I'll see if I can find it then I can tell you what you're dreams mean. You posted early this morning, you'll be tired by the middle of the afternoon now :-D :-D.
Sandra's just reminded me it's her birthday tomorrow, how could we all forget lol.
Off to get a cuppa before Michelle gets up, she asked me to wake her between 10 and 10.30 if she was still asleep, so I'd better go. See you all later . <3

Hi again
I've just seen a program advertised on BBC2 starting on 8th May I thought you might like to watch Frank. It's called "Britain's Greatest Generation" It's a documentary that tells the stories of the last survivors of the generation who fought or lived through World War II and are now in their 90's and 100's. I thought it might mention the children of that time as well. Not sure if you'd be interested but thought I'd mention it incase you were.
I only noticed it because I needed to write down all my recording off my set top box before we update it as they will be lost and will need putting back on, and it was advertising the program just as I put the TV on. I'm going to record it as it looks interesting.
Well, I'd better get back to it, got lots to do today BBL

Morning all, evening Kim.
Morning "DREAMER" I, like you, have some very weird dreams, some I can remember and can talk Ros through them others are best left where they are. !! Too horrid to want to relate to. Most are bought on by bad memories of childhood.
Michelle likes a good lie in then Gill. I must admit, we were late again this morning. 9.30 am when I put the kettle on. Mind you we were sitting watching a film about Elizabeth the First. and Mary Queen of Scots. Why do they keep this good films to put on so LATE. it didn't finish until 12.30 am.
Liz, It is so nice when you can find a local butcher where you can TRUST his meat. Jane, there was one in Geddington in the 60/70 That supplied my freezer. Half a Lamb, Side of Beef, half a pig, Sausages mince everything you could ask for, and at reasonable price, even then. We have two around here, one in Towcester and one in Town. But we find Morriso#s are pretty good. We will buy a very large joint, and cut it up to Sunday Dinner sizes. I*'m quite handy with a large knife !!!!
What time is the BOXING MATCH starting Ann, You should get the local papers there, plenty of publicity would be in favour of the neighbours. :-D :-D :-D
Thanks for the Photo's Mel and Ann.
Whites (bedding) in the wash. I have put her line up with the props in place, ready for when the machine finishes. Then there will be that lovely smell when it comes in. !!
How can you use TWO PAIRS OF glass's at once Jane ??? I knew this would happen. It always does. The number of duplicates I have got in the shed/garage is anybody's business.. But still you sometimes can't find what you are looking for.
Was there a Frost last night?? The forecast was saying there would be. It also mentioned SNOW up north during the week, and cold North Easterly winds down here. NO THANK YOU :-( :-( :-( I am in shorts and T shirt, ready to go and sit in the garden.
I trust our absent friends are well, and are just to busy to get on here. !!!
