Hi All
Yes it's a really chilly wind, we was late getting out to do the weekly shopping tonight and didn't get home till after nine, and it seemed to take ages to put all the food away,

Little madam was asleep when her mamma left for work and I ended up having to wake her up or she would not sleep tonight , she was in a bit of a mood, because I woke her up, but took only about 15mins to come round , she sat on my knee and watched the TV then decided she wanted to make a catterpillar picture that I had cut out using coloured circles and a feltip pen & glue, she was really happy with that and it is now on my freezer door for everyone to see.

well I am way to get a drink then it's off to bed.

Just home from the club, walked up and back. Wouldn't get Ros out tonight. That wind was enough to cut you in half. I went out in my overcoat, gloves and scarf. with a small hat on, but my ears were frozen.

I see it's between Mark and Dougie for the Jungle. Don't like either of them.

sunny but cold here..Just into Town to pick up some christmas things..I have cards to buy as well.Looked in a top cupboard last night and found a box left from last year....so dont have to buy so many now...
Hubby has bought an aquarium...So the last few days has been setting it up..May go looking for fish this afternoon.

Been very windy here and pouring with rain again last night. Today is about the same..........

Scaffolders are supposed to come today to get ready for the fit which should be on the 5th.

Good to see everyone chatting away but it took me ages to catch up with your posts. You had been busy yesterday.

I have been searching for my wreath rings that I had left from last year. I did have them in the garage but with oh clearing it out for the rebuild he has put everything away in different places and I don't know where they are :-|

We have had two pheasents up the top of the garden sparring away for three days now. They don't even move when you drive up there and they are on the road!! One waits on top of the wall surveying his territory and waiting for the other one to come through the achway. Then it starts. All this standing side by side and nodding their heads and dancing round. One wing down facing the other pheasent to make themselves look bigger than the other. They are so funny to watch.

Fiona it is nice that Sophia enjoys making things at this early age. She will be quite well on her way to being artistic when she starts school.

OH has been complaing about my keyboard again as I have worn all the letters off it and he dos'nt know where the keys are!!!!! He has'nt got the message yet that he could buy me a knew on for Christmas :-D I have no e, r, t, a, n, half an m half an s and d and g and h.

OH is on his way to Cheltenham for a match today so I'm 'home alone' as Frank would say.

I bet it is comical to watch the pheasants Mel. Around here, all they seem to do is dare each other to cross rthe road!! :-S Reminds me of a money saving programme I'd recorded and watched last night. One man had road kill barbeques. Pheasant, pigeon, badger, rabbit, deer and squirrel kebabs!! I suppose it is all healthier, free roaming and eating nutritious food, rather than what we get at the supermarket. Didn't make me want some though.

It has been lovely and sunny and warmer here this morning. I hope it stays nice for Jane's trip today. I might nip out with my camera soon.

My keyboard only has half an 'n' and 'a' Mel, but it is OH who is heavy handed with them!

What a lovely sunny morning we've had, not a cloud in the sky ,but now there's black clouds looming and the wind seems to have got up a bit .

Frank it sounds like you could do with one of those Balaclavas ,that would keep you warm ,you'll have to get Ros to knit you one ,only trouble is people will think your going out on the rob !!!!! LOL

We have lots of road kill round here,don't think i would fancy eating it though ,its probably had rats all over it !! ,i have even seen small Deer on the side of the road ,and had deer jump out in front of the car as we've driven along ,that's quite a fright i can tell you , also they can do a lot of damage to the car .

Hope Jane and Chris enjoy their day with Hannah, i bet she comes home with all sorts of goodies .

I hope hubby will get the Christmas things from the loft this afternoon ,i want to see what baubles i have as i've seen a bauble wreath i thought i might have a go at making , its just a wire coat hanger bent round in a circle and all the baubles threaded on , i've seen some in the shops and the were £25 !!! so i'am going to have a go at making one !!

Better get hubby a cuppa ,got to keep him sweet if i want him to go in the loft LOL

Jane I did not get any help to load the car and the beer cases are heavy some of the crisps and sweets and things are light of course but the foreign people in the warehouse mostly argue over every penny they spend.

I have had to do the shop Amanda and last night the cash register was playing up so I had to work things out with a calculator and my maths well say no more. I was expecting this lunch time for all the customers to return saying I had over charged them but only did ten minutes and Michelle asked her hubby to take over which was nice.

Mel my fairy godmother sent me a lovely card with a robin and a post box
it was a lovely surprise THANK YOU MEL. I do love robins and Kim sent a robin too. I have a confession my cards are not made this year out of the blue my craft club I attend when I have time sent me cards and
really strange cards victorian punk age themes with Xmas added the Victorians were interested in ther start of flying machines and travel and some weird cards and things have come out with men in goggles riding strange bikes and things with wings all in gold and black .Striking but weird for christmas there was holly and birds all mixed up with it. Anyway I had to send my made cards to them not expecting a single card serves me right did not give them a thought. !!!

So I rushed out and bought some nice charity cards for everyone I knew that was not crafty if you will excuse the expressssion. they are for the soldiers serving abroad a nice gesture . So will have to get writing this week end my friend Annie I forgot last year and she was not a happy bunnie. I thought she was off on a visit somewhere strange she loves to travel to these weird places in between living in Stratford and I thought she
was in Africa somewhere but its next year. Thats if she does not faint at the jabs she gets like she did twice.

Mel, thanks for your Christmas card , have just found it when i went to draw the door curtain , it was tucked behind the curtain , hubby picked up the post today and missed it , i love the robin cards too.

No cooking tonight ,sister's bringing a Chinese meal with them when they come this evening .

Hubby has been up in the loft and got the decorations down , he's now decided we need more insulation up there !!!! more expense as Frank says !!!

Hi Everyone,
A friend of mine who I used to work with at the nursery as opened her own craft shop and today was the opening day , so I went to visit her this afternoon , it's a great shop full of handmade crafts, toys, fancy things for Christmas, bought two little red buckets full of lavender and have ordered a flag banner with Sofia on, it will look great in her bedroom.

I've bought a few more Christmas presents today for my neice & sister -in -Law. and a few decorations to replace broken ones from last year.

Better go and wrap up the presents before daughter & boyfriend arrive for dinner.

Ann, We love Garrow's Law,and really look forward to it each week, BUT, this Sunday is the last episode!! Hopefully there will be a new series - sometime!! Busy day again! As it was fine AND I was 'on my own' I washed Millies bedding, and gave Merlin's stable a good clean, I even cobwebbed!!! Easy supper tonight, Raviolli and a cheese sauce, so not much cooking or clearing up.
