Was laughing so much about Brian Cells and Winter Boats I forgot to say!!!!!!

I think you have given me Brian Fever!!!!!pmsl

Who should turn up this afternoon at about 3.15 but the scaffolders!! Just two men in a pickup van. I gave them a cup of tea and coffee and they had it up in no time at all.

The younger one was the owner of the firm from Exeter. OH said he could talk the hind legs off a donkey. He just did'nt stop talking all the time he was doing the scaffold.

Anyway I am much happier now I have the panels and have the scaffolding up. I was begining to think I may have been done.

Mel, I think winter boats are opposite to summer boats. :-D :-D :-D

Terrible journey home, RAIN,RAIN,RAIN. I left my Ebook at Conrads, my mobile phone rang. Jan said pul over Conrad is coming with your book. He was there in two minutes. Traffic was heavy tonight. Lorries everywhere, just setting off for their overnight trips I expect..

Jan had made a load of peanut brittle, Ros bought a large quanity home with her and the reciepe, so I suppose she will be making it.

Thanks Mel. for your card, and including Lewis. He will be pleased. !!!

The old cat, has now taken to sitting on the coffee table, hair and dribble everywhere. I don't think it will be long before he has to go, to the cats home in the SKY. I won't be able to do it myself, So will have to get Tony my neighbour to do the dirty deed. or one of the boys. !! I won't be a happy Bunny when the time comes.

Liz, Thanks for that info. Will have to look it up and put it on Favourites.

Can't wait to see it Mandy. Downton I mean. OH will probably talk all the way through it as usual, making rude comments about their speech and dress etc.

The address for the cards Frank is:[email protected].

Having been a secretary for many years I touch type too, you never forget how, like riding a bike.

I'm not surprised Hannah has met somebody, she is such a pretty girl, it's hard isn't it Jane, not to be too inquisitive, I was just the same with all mine.

Thank you Kim, Shirl. and Mel for christmas cards, still to do mine .......

Hi Everyone,

Winter BOATS! lol I could do with some STEAMERS for getting around the shops quick! I have some books with scribbling in them that my sister did when she was little. Mum said it was my own fault for leaving them where she could get at them! I was not impressed at the time.

It is so easy to mis type isn't it. OH always tells the tale of when he received a long service award to give to a member of staff. When he opened the parcel it had a small wooden clock inside. When he read the paperwork with it he nearly fell off his chair !! It said 'Mahogany Clock......but the 'L' was missing!!! lol.

I envy you that skill Maureen. I remember at work when we were first given laptops and had to do all our work on them, there wasn't half some 'cussing' from all of us non typists as we hit wrong keys and 'lost' things we had typed'. It took us for ever at first as well!!! Still, it must have saved money as we ended up with very few typists.

OH's neck and shoulder were worse this morning and he is on painkillers and walking around with his scarf on indoors!! (my suggestion....lol!!!) He said it is a bit better now. I don't think he realises he is getting older......keeps saying he never used to get things like this, and why did this just happen out of the blue. lol :-S I remember when I used to say things like that!!!

I bet you do feel easier in your mind now the scaffold is up Mel. The panels will soon be on the roof and you will be reaping the benefit. Is that why you cut down the big tree so more sunlight would fall on them?

That was lucky Conrad spotted your ebook before you'd gone far Frank. At least it turned up quicker than the stamps.

I hope they do another series of Downton. I love these period dramas and will be watching the last Garrow's Law tonight too.

I think it will be a close run thing on Strictly once Robbie goes. They are all so good!!
