I've got one and use it loads - however it is quite heavy and not the easiest thing to keep clean. Wouldn't like to be without it though. Kate |

Le Creuset are cast iron french cooking pots. Very heavy indeed. Imagine lifting one of their casserole dishes full of boeuf bourguignon out of a low level oven!!!!! I have and needed back surgery! Dee x |

They are excellent, but as others have said - they're really heavy - even when empty! AL |

I had some but had to get rid of them - far too heavy. I then invested in some really good stainless steel pans which double up as casserole/oven dishes and have never looked back! OC |

My ex bought me a set of 5 one Christmas (that's part of the reason he's my ex - such imaginative presents!!) They weren't enamelled, so needed 'seasoning' after every use and - as everyone else has said - blooming heavy, and me being 3 months pregnant at the time- well it was quite good in a way, I could add 'unable to cook' to my 'unable to clean oven' (chemicals!!) list of things I couldn't do!!! BTW The pans went his way in the divorce maggie |
