I have 3 saucepans. They are excellent but mine must be about 20 years old now and they are getting very difficult to clean. Once the inner enamel has aged it seems to get rough and then cleaning is a bit of a performance. After I make a stew now I need to fill them with biological washing powder solution overnight and if that doesn't get them clean I have to use bleach. I didn't get any of the very large saucepans because of the weight. I'm not sure what I'd replace them with though. I have a non-stick saucepan but that hasn't lasted long.......the coating is starting to come off after only a relatively short time. My best pan is a large stainless steel Finnish one which has a steamer and a bain marie in a stack above plus lid. That cleans easily and isn't very heavy. Sue |
