Well I'm either invalided or invalid lol I think I've either eaten something I shouldn't or I got hit by a virus, spent most of the afternoon being sick then dragged myself to bed and slept. Luckily, my ex came round to see the kids so he got their tea or else it would've been toast or soup lol. I am feeling a bit better now, I've had some toast and kept that down, just feeling a bit sorry for myself lol. Going back to bed soon.

Good Morning Wafflers, Another lovely day on Botany Bay - though there is a little grey in the clouds so something may come of it later with a little luck. 7 Giraffe necks stretched high this morning, they have all been working hard lately . . . a tanker came in about an hour ago and tied up at the Gas Wharves. Thanks for the Anniversary wishes, and the lovely E Cards I will show TLR tonight. First thing TLR said to me this morning - as he has this morning every year, 35 times - Did you get me new shirt ?? On the morning we were married I burnt his favourite shirt with the iron - my response this morning . . I see your long term memory is just fine! now, what did you have for dinner last night! teeeeheee I did get a lovely suprise in the pressie dept . . . beautiful opal earings and pendant !!! 'stunning stones' I haven't asked about them yet, but they are in a Mr Grays box, so have been made by our friend. Pressies are lovely, but I dont need them to feel appreciated - which I do. It was a hectic start to the day, getting all the pink stuff packed up and TLR wanting to be in the office a little earlier than usual this morning. Didn't notice it last night - but the fingers do have a pink tinge, may have to give Bazza a rest today and see if useing the bleach myself works on the fingers. The cheesecake slice I made yesterday is so yummy - I have made it before but never turned out as nice as this one (must be the pink food colouring). Ray cracked up when he saw my pink with white chocolate chip cookies - made special for Angelo who loves choc chip cookies. Joodles I will get pickles from Melbourne to you this morning . . . Court Jester went quiet last night after he was found out . . . teeheee Congratulations Granny Leah . . . welcome to Charlotte, such a lovely name - enjoy your snuggles when you get to see her. Maybe Leah we could pick you up on our way thru to Canberra, will talk to you! Would be lovely to catch up with you again. For those of you who dont know, Leah is the lovely lady who got us all organised in the first place. Leah prodded us along for the first meet down at Bowral, and then did most of the ground work for the one at Brighton - you done good Leah! As if you could sit still in the naughty corner for as long as you claim you did Lady MacBev . . . . teeeheeee Pigs might fly too !!! Sue so glad Tamika's first night at work went well, and good luck to Danielle with the tooth. Hope your going OK too. Hope you get validated soon Cat . . . Dinna happen to eat the catnip left out on the Wattle thread did ya ??? Get well soon our feline friend. Time for a coffee and then get some of the dreaded out of the way Have a great day one and all luv Laurie

Good Morning Wattlers from a cloudy Mudgee. I even heard some thunder, so keep your fingers crossed!! Great to see you back on the thread, Fluffy. Just ride with your emotions, cry when you want, laugh when you want and, even, shout when you want. I think of you everyday xxx Poor Trifles, keep close to the throne room, take lots of fluids and have lots of sleeps. I think of you everyday, too, xxx. Happy Anniversary Loz & TLR. Suppose you're up to your elbows in pink this morning. Hope you have a wonderful day. Hope your girls are feeling better, Tassie and I'm pleased that Tamika has enjoyed her first day at work. How's the new house? Have you settled in yet? Oops, who left that poisoned mice out for our Cat? Hope the tummy is feeling better. Perhaps you've swallowed too many numbers, lol Have fun selling the calendars, Jood. Hope it doesn't get too hot, otherwise you might have to call for the firies to cool you down, lol Sorry we're not going to have a mini meet, Shazz. Next time. Hope Rob is okay. Does he need some of my pills? Cilla, Donna, are you two okay. More pills for you too? Congratulations on the new arrival Leah and I love the name. Bet you can't wait to have her a snuggle. Well, I'd better go and get some breakfast. ~~~to all I haven't mentioned~~ Lew Lew xxx

Good morning Waffling Wattlers, Hope you are all feeling chipper this fine morning. Congratulations Laurie and Ray, another milestone. Hope you have a wonderful day. Welcome baby Charlotte, don't forget Leah we like pickles of new arrivals. Some of us will never have grand children, so we like to share. Lew how is Lil today, did you book the holiday. Lara, I will give you a call if I can manage to get down to Tweed. How long will you be there. Pleased to hear from you Pam and Trifley. Shazz, your Dazza is a real charmer, bet your glad you didn't fall for his sweet talking. I can't believe that the police can't do anything about him. He is a real menace. Hope you get to the bottom of Robs problems soon. How are you now, tummy all better I hope. Sue, I hope Tamika and Danielle are feeling better soon. Are you all settled in now. You will be putting up your lights soon. Jill, I have never been to Harbour Town. I have heard mixed reports about it. What did you buy? How are you Donna and Cilla and Wilson, where are you. Yvette, have you thought of being a personal trainer. A friend of mine has done that and he is doing really well. Just put a little ad in the local paper and see what happens. Has everyone signed the channel seven petition to Cool the Globe, if not why not. Just go to yahoo7/sunrise. I will be checking on you. What about our wonderful Peter Beattie. He will not consider daylight saving because the extra hour of sunlight will cause more skin cancer. Just how do they get these jobs. Guess what, my curtains have faded without the daylight saving. Well, must get on with some work. Oh I forgot the welcome the newbies, tall blonde firie, prove it , lets see a photo. Bye for now Luv SuzyQ

Morning Wattlers, still got another half hour, boy did I sleep well last night, must have been all the walking I did yesterday. Suzy I'd say it's worth going to Harbour town, there is a lot of tat but if you look around you can pick up some good bargains. I bought Lorraine a couple of Ell McPherson bras with matching knickers for less than $40. and kids T-shirts are pretty cheap, the Sheridan shop had sheets and quilts at good prices too, yes I'd say go it makes quite a nice day out. Congratulations to you Laurie and Ray, are you going anywhere special for dinner tonight? Welcome to the world little Charlotte, I love your name. Get well JulieCat it's horrible being sick, take care. Pam it's lovely to see you back, we miss our Fluffy, no one to tell us to watch out for those pesky bedbugs, lol Trifley so glad you're feeling a bit better maybe a martoonie tonight will speed up the recovery. luv Jillx

Hi Trifley, I think what Peter actually said was the extra hour of evening sunlight. Ofcourse we all know that it is the midday sun that causes the worst damage. It was on the Sunrise news this morning. Qld is now the only state not to have daylight saving and that was is reaason why we won't be getting it. An extra hour of sunlight that is LOL Going for lunch now SuzyQ

G'day Wattlers.I've been out for my walk by the Swan River, saw some gorgeous little fluffy cygnets (cousins of yours,Pam?) and some dolphins. I wandered through a village of tents and stalls set up for Seniors' Week, in the Burswood Casino parklands, lusted after some beautiful hippeastrums (no money with me, alas!), admired some examples of work from the Embroidery Guild, have done my grocery shop and waved to OH (off to s-i-l's farm at Brookton to set up his computer network for him). Nice and quiet at home with just me to please...unfortunately, I'll have to go and do some cleaning soon, as it's my turn to host the Mah Jong maniacs tomorrow. Just as well, I guess, or the house would never get cleaned at all. Can't honestly say I think we need Daylight Saving here in the West....seem to have more daylight than we can use .Now if they did it in winter, there might be some point. Oh well, we've been told it will cure the nation's obesity problem, so I expect to give Miss Australia a run for her money by New Year
