Ivnin Wafflers.....:>))) HAPPY YAPPY Anniversary to Laurie and Ray. A couple goes out to dinner to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. On the way home, she notices a tear in his eye and asks if he's getting sentimental because they're celebrating 50 wonderful years together. He replies, 'No, I was thinking about the time before we got married. Your father threatened me with a shotgun and said he'd have me thrown in jail for 50 years if I didn't marry you. Tomorrow I would've been a free man!' Leah. Congrats on the new Grandie mate. Jude ( Flakey ). Your turn for the 'Lotto' this week ( in case ya fergot ) New Geno quiz coming up for Saturday night....bet ya cant wait....lol Best wishes to all the sickies. Time for me V.B Tablet. We go on daylight saving Saturday night - still waiting to hear if Perth came to their senses to have daylight saving also. I'm off to bed all, Enjoy your VB tablet Tony Jood

Night all - Super nanny has well and truely run out of steam!! Donna - would you consider getting a 'talking' program?? mine is called Dragon Naturally Speaking and is quite good. I only use it for entering large amounts of data but I know you can learn to do ALL computer functions with it, including surfing the net. I just haven't bothered. The latest one is very accurate - especially if you naturally talk clearly. Got to go to bed. Night pumpkins, ~~~~~~~~~~ Vonny

Donna, hope you don't mind if I stick my oar in, being a bit new to the wattlers, about your shoulder. Is it arthritis? I had a painful shoulder a few years ago, and the doc said it was arthritis, and prescribed painkillers. Then I found a book called 'Curing Arthritis the Drug-Free Way' by Margaret Hills. Among other things she recommended taking a teaspoon of honey and a dessertspoon of cider vinegar in hot water 3 times a day, so I tried it. After a few weeks I stopped the painkillers and the pain didn't come back, so either it wasn't arthritis or the honey and cider vinegar fixed it. Anyway I continued to take it for a while longer, and I haven't had the pain since. Best of luck, Waggy

Morning Wattlers and another sunny day in Mudgee - blast!!!!! No, Lara, we didn't get any rain. It was dark and windy, but that was all. Anna, I loved the daylight savings excuses. 'Morning Glory', now that's the weirdest thing I've heard. Where do people come up with this stuff??? The msn group sounded like fun, wish I'd witnessed it, lol Terry is still suffering from hurting Lily and this suffering could last for some time. Going down town today, so perhaps a little retail therapy may help me. Well done to you Jood raising all that money. However, if it was a gold coin donation, where did the 75c come from, lol. Me thinks you were short changed. heee Line up, line up, ladies and gentlemen in an orderly fashion. Dr Lew has a lovely fresh batch of pretty blue pills with orange pills. Cures all - coughs, colds, warts, moles. Off to have some brekky HRH Dr Lew Lew xxx

Morning all. Hi Lew, Re the 75 cents, some people put silver in to make up a dollar, others gave has loose change - and as they put it straight into a locked box, we didn't always see how much they were putting in - on the whole, I was very proud of the response and ppppppp to those who ignored us!!! .. Won't ever be doing it again tho, my back was killing me - on my feet all day. .. Never again. I don't know whether to say poor Lily or poor Terry lol. Off to the races today - uhmmmm the tail is at the back isn't it? and they run from the front? .. lol .. hope the food is nice. Funny weather, makes is bad for dressing, you don't know whether to dress for cold or hot :( Have a great day all Jood

Good Morning Wattlers . . . An overcast day on Botany Bay, everything looking grey out doors, but still warm - thank goodness, I dont like those days where it's grey and cold. Hope its raining over the catchment area and out where its needed in the west. A few empty spots over at the Port Botany wharves, 7 giraffe necks stretched into the heavens and no ships over at Kernell at the moment either. I'm all ready to go out - just waiting till shops open, and have some jobs to get done, bills to pay. Off to Chloe's 5th birthday party on Sat lunchtime at 'Clown Land' (B.Y.O.S. = Bring your own sox) teeehee If I dont take my own sox - I can't go on the jumping castle. We gave Chloe a braclet when she was born, and every birthday & Chrissy we give her a new charm with her pressie. Still looking for the list of charms we have already given her so we dont double up - know its on the puter here some place. Should know today when I am going up home . . . the builders say they can get the new iron on the roof at a weeks notice - just have to get those dormers painted first. . fingers crossed painter gets back to me today and says he can do the job next week. We were a little shocked to get the paper work from the Insurance Co yesterday, they are replacing the entire roof of the house - including bull nose verandahs, the entire roof of the 3 car garage, plus replacing the garden shed. Place is going to have a real face lift with all that work. Ray is really pleased - he never was happy with the job we did putting the roof on the house when we built it! Now experts are going to have a go. All the cutting in of the iron around the shapes in the dormers - cutting the iron was a pain, and we can see the not so perfect edges on the cuts, even if others can't. Glen has tagged the bullnose iron that is coming off the verandahs, so guess we will be helping him build a verandah on his house over Christmas. Have a lovely time at the reunion Lara & Mike - never know I may see you up there next week! LS HRH Lew, hope the therapy today eases your pain over Lilly a little! Sadly, I dont think that pain is going to leave you for a very, very, very long time, in fact I would probably be inclined to call that pain 'cronic' . . . but then I am sure Terry already knows that !!!!!! No pills for me today thanks . . . . I'm already high - on Life! Had a good laugh at the discussion on the daylight saving . . . some pollies dont think before they open their mouths do they. Hope you all have a wonderful day . . . time to go . . Laugh a Lot . . . Smile when your not laughing!! Grinners are winners !!!! luv Laurie

Lew did you notice that the Jester was giving medical advise? Need to watch him I think, may try to take over your practise. Safe trip Lara, enjoy yourself. Morning all.. Dull and grey but no rain today so far. Is this site slow or am I getting old... Last night I tried to get on but it took 20seconds of blue screen after each click so I just gave up and went to bed. It is not much better today I might add. Lara Have a safe trip and enjoy yourselves. Lew You are not still making poor Terry suffer ... Just take Lily to the doctor and she will be as right as rain in no time.. We had a new Ford station wagon once and hubby rang from work and asked if I had pranged it yet.. Very indignant I said NO AND HUNG UP. A cousin staying with us needed a lift to the bus so I offered to take her and when I got back decided to put the car in the garage down a very curved driveway,,,Yes you guessed it, I scraped it down the side on the brick fence.Rang OH and he didnt believe me until I burst into tears and then he began to laugh..I have never been allowed to forget it...and the brick fence was partly demolished so that I didnt do it again. Well I have just had a surprise visit from my big brother and didnt finish my message so have to go and will be back later.. Hope all are well and those that are not, thinking of you.and big hugs. Love Maryxxxxxxx

OK....I've checked every cocktail recipe book I can find and no where do any of them mention a 'Whipped Pixie'.....does it taste good? Now let me see....we have Wattlers who have sore backs, teeth, shoulders, glands and sundry other organs.....big healing hugz to you lot. Then there are those who have enough energy to light up Brisbane on a dark night......to them pppppppp) (from one who has very little energy) And, of course, there are the rest of the fabulous crazies.....big, happy smiles to you lot. To our newbies.....I'm the crazy one who grabs life around the throat and drags it after me like float in a parade......anyone want to tag along? I'm feeling good enough today....I think a small foray out into the world is in order......so I'm off to shout myself a coffee at the local shops. Hugz to you all. love Trifley X
