Well, I am back from the Fair with all those huge rides, bright lights and loud music.

It's so nice to be home in the peace and quiet !

It's strange to think that last year I was holding 'little grand-daughter's ' hand as we walked around but this year she has grown so much we were linking arms - she is almost as big as me now and she is not yet 10 !! :-0

They do grow up so quickly don't they ?

I just had a lovely pizza !

I don't actually like pizzas but I was in my local Tesco today and they had some 'tasters' out - one was bits of Pizza and it was gorgeous !

They have a new section where they make up pizzas with your choice of toppings - this one was a thin crispy base topped with cheese, ham, spicy chicken, Jalapenos, mushrooms and sweetcorn.

The base was really scrummy and light so I bought one and even hubby loved it ;-)

The last time I had a pizza which I really enjoyed was around 1980 in Majorca - I will be going again......................

P.S. - I have to add that it cost me the princely sum of £2.65 !!!

Cripes :-0 :-0 :-0

Cooking sausage in a Sainsbury's cooks collection, copper based frying pan (bought in Jan) and there was a massive bang, I thought the hob had cracked

When cleaning the pan, noticed a huge lump on the base of the pan! Looked at online reviews on the Sainsbury's website and it seems to be a manufacturing fault.

The heavy copper base is not secured to the pan, water get's in between the copper and the pan, causing it to create steam and explode

Some people have been burnt when the oil has splashed on explosion

Don't have a receipt but will popping into our local store later :-(

That is SO dangerous Ginns - you could have been injured !!

Sainsbury's should have recalled them all and put out warnings !

If you don't get any joy from Sainsbury's you should get onto the Trading Standards people so that they can warn the Public.

I have just booked a cruise on a narrow boat with Santa for the middle of December with the grandchildren and their mum and dad !

We will all have Sunday lunch at a pub on the riverside and be picked up there - the boat only holds 12 people so we will have a whole half of it to ourselves - I do hope they will enjoy it.

We usually take them to see Santa at the Golf Club where they have a nice party with an entertainer but hubby has had to give up his golf because of his bad back so we can't really go there this year.

This is not really a party but I hope they will enjoy it just the same..........
